That did take an unexpected hour pf my day because Walgreens, even though they used to at one point, no longer takes walk-ins for vaccines. Uhh, it was my birthday yesterday and got caught up with birthday activities. :p So no comic progress today, but here is sneak peak of a commission before I upload it to the public. I need to draw dragons more often.

Ugh, no time to work on Laurel's spots tonight. I spend most of my afternoon filling out my voting ballot. Then I spent too much time driving around town because the roads were unexpectedly closed, so I had to make a huge detour in the dark. X__X I'm ready to relax for the rest of the night.

Glad I got the main colors filled in at least, since I've been falling in the bad habit of not consistently working on a page a little bit everyday.

Anywho, got the basic colors down. I'll experiment with them later, as I don't know how pink colors will affect the atmosphere. I'll have a poll up when I get closer to that point.

🤧 This page kicked my ass, cowbells. I've been on-and-off working on it since this morning. The next few upcoming pages are under about 5 panels, so they won't tire me out as much as this one did.

Patreon changed their billing settings!

Saw this earlier from another Patreon account I follow: Patreon made an option to charge newly subscribed patrons to be billed on the day they subscribed, not just the 1st of every month! This is awesome! I'm going to switch over to this in a couple of days, but wanted to let you guys all know in case you would like to unsubscribe and then subscribe on a day that's more convenient for you all.

Whoo-man. I may not miss my old job too much, but I sure do miss those 3 day weekends. This page really made me feel the grind, though I was pretty good at staying on top of the work to keep up the pace. I was a little slower today than I should have been, but it's Saturday so meh.

I updated Clip Studio paint recently. For some reason the color settings were changed, and exporting images look weird. Finally fixed it, but it took an hour. -__-

News: Got a new job!

Just heard back from an interview as promised: I got a new job and I get to start in 2 weeks! I put in my vacation time last week, so I hope my current job won’t get pissy and fire me on the spot.

I’m looking forward to this because I’ve been working nights for 2 years now. It kept me safe from covid and “the public,” but I’m ready to move on for better pay (especially with this inflation!). The old hours were long, 10 hours, not including transportation. That mad...
