First real section of map in the game is in an effectively finished state, just lacking some polish (map graphic, check and enemy balancing, text script edits). Ended up going through with this approach, instead of meticulously going through a lot of other yet-to-be relevant systems, just so I could see if everything that is currently made works when put into place. The answer then being that yes, it does work.
This has let me know what the pipeline is for individual map implement...

What are some art pieces, old or recent, that you'd like to see given a continuation, get completed, and/or get colored?
You can put forth anything, but I won't want to 'finish' or color something that's several months old. Would rather do a continuation for stuff like that because working directly on old drawings is painful.
The only stuff that's currently on my definitive hitlist are the Kurotsuno sequence and McDonalds Towa.

Last few days have been spent on map-making, laying down the foundations of the main gameplay aside from combat: that being exploration and dungeon-crawling. In the game you will progress through a map point by point with choices, events, and encounters being presented to you somewhat like how a DM would in a tabletop game. I don't think chocolate is supposed to do all that.
Still needs polishing and the mini alt sequences for images 3 and 4, but wanted to post now to be in the clear. Exercise 'epilogue' comes later.
I will post this month's runner-up poll early tomorrow, but for next month I have to get the poll backlog whittled down before I make any more, so there will be a bit of a lull.
