As the game has gotten larger, I thought folks may like a way to switch the path they were on, on the fly. So I added this little toggle to the options menu and reworked some of my code, which to be frank wasn't very elegant anyways so this was a good thing. This was in no way a selfish move by myself to stop having to start all over again every time I wanted to test the other path :)

Hi Everyone,

Great news, I'm a little ahead of my own schedule right now, in a couple of days time I'll release version 0.4.1 !

I completed the initial set of scenes, tested both routes, added audio and cleaned up some of the code. However during the test, I determined the need for another scene, so right now that is what I am working on. I'm about 3 or 4 renders away from finishing it off. Chapter 3 on Itch.io

Hi everyone, as I mentioned in my weekly update. Once I release chapter 4 part 1 to you wonderful Patreons, I would like to make chapter 3 available to a wider audience. Weekly update

Kind of a big one, please excuse the length of this post.

Really pleased with the progress I've made on Chapter 4 of Best Friends, the render above is from an early scene. The plan is to release this chapter to you lovely Patreons in 2 halves. I am targeting part 1 to be ready in a couple of weeks from now, maybe earlier. With Part 2 targeted for the following month.

I've completed all the scripting for C4-Part 1 at this point. I'm at about 80% - 90% through all the rendering too....

I will try to put one of these out at the end of each week, to keep you abreast of progress on Best Friends. Chapter 4 has been my focus this week. Great Hire - Part 1 Released Exclusively to Patreon

Patreon Supporters get access to the first short instalment of an adult comic that follows the career of Faenon Tech's latest employee. This part is 29 slides long and serves as an introduction to the characters. If you've played Best Friends some characters may be familiar.

Best Friends Version 0.31 Released

Small update from 0.3 fixes an animation in the "Jon" path and replaces the over use of acronyms in general dialogue. Get version 0.31 only on Patreon.

Best Friends - Release Schedule Goals

Hi Everyone,

I just wanted to lay out my goals for content delivery for Best Friends.

I have the full story arch developed. As of right now Sep 2024, chapters 1-3 are fully scripted and by the time you read this probably fully developed, tested and released.

The final story line will be around 8 - 10 chapters long. My determination here is to develop a conclusion, it's not a have a never ending piece of work that will continually be added to. I will however not close the doo...
