happy second heatwave to the pnw!

Good mornoon friends, happy August! I've got a move coming up so I've been a bit scattered,  but here's what I've been working on around that. Otherwise, I've been slowly and sluggishly gearing up for the return of conventions, because it looks like that's on the horizon in the US. My first one is in November (AnthroNW in Seattle!), I'm interested to see how they come out reshaped after (or, you know, during, as the case may be) the pandemic.

At the beginning of 2020, all I could think was, wow this is going to be a great year for optometrists to put out sales on stuff. 2020 might have been that, I guess, but 2020 sure was a lot of other way bigger stuff, huh.

Times are a little too interesting

Whew, what a month, huh? It's absolutely wild to me that earlier in the month I was selling at a convention, using hand sanitizer "just in case", and thinking with a bit of trepidation about all my upcoming cons in the near future ... a lot changes in a few weeks! I hope everyone is hanging in there and surviving quarantine. Remember to stay hydrated, get a lot of sleep, and stand up and do some jumping jacks or something once in a while. Welcome to March! I did a big ol kissy sale in February, got lots of smoochy art from it. I also ended up doodling endless D&D art, couldn't stop myself! Between the short month and a 2 week trip to Boston, I'm not actually sure where all of this came from. Very mysterious.

Next month is a trip to Canada, then I take the rest of the month off! From travel, anyway. You can definitely expect lots of doodles and commissions from the rest of March.

Welcome to 2020, the year every glasses place must put on a sale
