Patreon content in the next few weeks (phase two, so to speak).

Howdy, partner.

Damn, we're really close to hitting our first milestone, how about that! It feels weird for me that 49 people are supporting this fever dr- *ahem*  this project. Well, not that I'm complaining...

Be very welcome, y'all.

Phase two of Patreon content.

I brought a few files and world concepts to you guys to give a little bit of insight into the lore of the game. Well, starting with 3.3, the next chapters will do a lot in that department. So, for now, I'll only be doing art in the upcoming weeks. Every Sunday like before, but this time some surprises mid-week whenever I have the spare time. I'll be doing this to balance the "show & tell" aspect and not overexpose the story.

And...well, unfortunately, I won't be starting today. Promised a friend I'd help her with some stuff, so not much time for me to come up with anything. Sorry for that.

Also, completely unrelated, but...

Have you guys ever heard about the term "blamestorming"? Here, I'll paste the definition from Urban Dictionary.

"collectively or individually finding someone/something to blame for a problem, as opposed to brainstorming which connotes finding solutions to a problem."

I found about that exactly three minutes ago, and I'm still laughing uncontrollably because that's literally every match of League of Legends for me.

I also may or may not have added this to have an unnecessarily longer post. Sorry about that, too.

Thank you for your kind support.

Rise beyond the fists. Game updated to 3.2.0.0.

Download links on the pinned post.

Boys and girls - it is here. As much as it fills me with joy every time I release anything new, I need to have a serious talk with you guys.

Something very important while doing anything is confidence. While writing, for example, if you don't trust that your story works, neither will anyone else. Although I'm always nitpicking my own work to the point where it sabotages me, I always have confidence in my story.

But well...the last few weeks weren't too nice to me. Some stuff happened in my family that needed me to step in, and the amount of stress I got out of it shook that confidence a little.

I can guarantee the waiting will not be disappointing, but if this chapter happens to be a little less exciting...that's why.

But, of course, this post won't end grimly!

Chapter 3.3 has 90% of its content already planned. This is the chapter that will explain a lot of the lore of magic (that has been tied up, already) and explore a certain love interest in a very deep way.

So, I'm putting my chips on a one-month release with a lot of content, if no more drama happens within my family.

As always, thank you guys for sticking around. I hope you'll enjoy this new chapter.

World Concept: "Operations in Windgate Island"

Intercepted e-mail from an unidentified bounty hunter.

from: 3f6kfdn79@treemail.ru
to: 592jb68ns@keeno.com
subject: So, you wanna take contracts in Windgate?

Look, I'm gonna start by saying this is a pretty fucking bad idea. You can go ahead and call me a pussy, I don't care. But since you're doing it regardless of what I say or do,  I thought I'd be good enough of a friend to tell you what you should expect.

First of all, there are three families you should be careful with, because they are probably gonna be the people you're taking contracts from.

Sayn: The big bad wolf. German sons of bitches that run Windgate with an iron fist. Yeah, their name comes from the God of Violation. Some say the men of the family were blessed with godly strength by Sayn himself, and so, they swore to carry his name and his "blessing" across generations. I wouldn't test that theory. They pay top dollar but their jobs are always elite targets.

D'Attilio: The Italians. A wop in crime, another in politics. They are not one for violence - they'd rather buy their way out of everything and stay lo-pro. When they do strike for blood, though, it's always brutal. Crucifixion, burying people alive - this kind of shit. They pay almost as well as the Sayns, but not quite. Their jobs are more acessible, though.

Andersen: The Danish. The twins running the family, Melina and Opal might seem very fuckable at first sight, but don't. Just don't. They have a thing for flaying people alive. Their pay is kinda shitty but they have contracts on every John Doe you can think of. Jobs are VERY acessible if you don't mind working with people that have no class.

Now, to the other people you should be careful with - the cocksuckers at the Royal Guard. Yeah, they are real.

They have ops around the globe, but I dare say 80% of their main shit is focused on Windgate. So, if you're gonna work there, be careful with their "couriers". A lot of them are pathetic, but you can always run into one or two that will REALLY mess you up. They are heavily trained and will either kill you on sight or cripple the fuck outta you.

And last, but not least, Vincent Hill. Stay the fuck away of everything involving that guy and I can't stress this enough. Ever wonder why there are only three families running all of the hunting business in Windgate? Yeah. There are some fucked up individuals there, but this guy takes the cake. And guess what? Word around the streets is that he's Royal Guard.

That's it. Be careful, dipshit.

Library File: "Genova Y. McKinney"

This file has been marked for correction. Please note that one or two things here might not be a hundred percent correct. Only fix/edit this file if you know your shit. Thanks for your attention.

Full Name: Genova Yesenia McKinney
Birthday: September 3rd
Other Aliases: "Nova"
Nationality: American
Sex: Female
Has relic (No):
Royal Guard (Yes): Engineer

Bio:

Genova Y. McKinney is a soul energy user and light-born who is currently an engineer for the Royal Guard.

As a light-born, Genova was born with a peculiar condition. With pale skin and very clear green eyes, her parents' amazement became despair as soon as - still as a child, her appearance began to change drastically. Taking a very dark and dry look, almost as dark and dry as tarmac, her skin cracked constantly, to the point where she was almost always bleeding. When she felt like she had enough of the extremely religious community she grew up in, she fled her home for a more positive perspective, seeking to find a place she could feel less like an unholy creature, and more like a kid.

As expected of every stray user, she didn't last long on her own. Captured, sold, and abused for years, she managed to run away countless times, until one day, she didn't need to. "Acquired" by an old engineer, this man seemed different. For the first time in her life, she was treated with love and respect by someone who wasn't supposed to treat her that way. The excessive amount of trauma and stress Genova went through prevented her from developing naturally as a light born, and instead of fetishizing or treating her like a demon, this man was able to find a treatment that suits her to this day.

Growing up with an engineer, Genova picked up on many of his talents. Having a knack for assembling and disassembling all kinds of machinery and contraptions, Genova also found a talent of her own: Being a stylist. She is responsible for designing many of the equipment used by the Royal Guard and employed by the field divisions. Her work is not only functional - but incredibly stylish, too.

Genova is also a well-accomplished musician, being the co-founder of a band based exclusively on the castle, called "Porn Relay". The name, alluding to the fact that porn was a bargaining chip in times when the Royal Guard had no internet. Although the band was an inside joke between Genova and her friends, it was actually seem as a very good band.

Genova is known to be a very uplifting, extroverted, and knowledgeable person. Her need for knowing how everything works earned her priceless - efficient talents. Guns and clothing are very different things, still...that never stopped her.

Genova has no known blood relatives.

A few extra facts:

-Genova is a gun nut.

-She has a huge collection of guitars ranging from simple Stratocasters to double-necks. This logic also applies to her guns.

-She never leaves the castle. Ever.

-The running joke in the castle about Fiona Westley being a secret member of Porn Relay as a flute player was actually started by her when she claimed it true as an april fools' joke.

-Nova is a filthy weeb. Sorry, it's true.

Sneak peek of the new banner (and last week's absence).

New banner.

So, this concept is something I wanted to do since the game's launch. I don't really know why I didn't. It's subject to change until the next update of the game, but I think I'm keeping it as final (I'd love to have some feedback from you guys).

If you know the original painting I based this on (The Creation of Adam) you know what it's about. My take, however, is kind of a metaphor for how the main character is Tobias' lifeline for immortality. Thus, in a way, they are both "gods" to each other.

Yup, I know I'm no Michelangelo, but I did my best.

Last week's absence.

I don't think many people are interested in the files or world concepts so I don't know if you guys noticed, but there was nothing last week. Believe it or not, for some reason my brain shut down for three full days and I completely forgot I had online classes to attend and a weekly post to post (no, I don't do drugs).

That's it. Nothing special happened, I just forgot, for some reason. If anyone was waiting for last week's post, I'm sorry.

I'm dropping both last week's world concept (Divisions of the Royal Guard) and today's art later. So, yeah, see you guys in a few.

Thank you for your kind support.

"Deep down...I always knew something was up."

Greetings, fellas. Status update on 3.2. Bear with me.

Next release.

So, these last few days my monitor decided to off himself. I've been using an old one that's in my family since 2006, and it's in pretty bad shape. Resolution on my PC is all glitched, so basically, I can't work properly, can't write properly, and sure as hell can't play Kenshi properly. Will that impact the next release? A little bit, yeah, but I'm confident I can deliver it in the same time frame as the previous one. Besides, I'll have enough bank by Thursday to buy a new screen (if you buy it cheap, you buy it twice).

EDIT - Mobile release.

I've been looking at the possibility of having an official mobile release. I'm not sure how complicated the porting process is so I make no promises. I do plan to start official mobile releases after Chapter Four, though.

About that second game I mentioned...

I've been looking for some extra work to replace the hours I spend on YouTube or some other useless stuff I do when I'm not working/studying/playing some good shit.

Sometimes when I'm working on Mad World I feel like writing straight pr0n, and sometimes, writing and posing the aforementioned can be such a drag...

Also, there are times when I feel like writing something different. Making a second game can get rid of 85% of these problems with the drawback that I'd have to render it alongside MW, so I'm still studying the possibility carefully. I would also have to decide between one of the other four games I have planned (I might make a poll for that).

The most significant thing I wanted to state about this is that I'm not finishing Mad World anytime soon. I can't emphasize this enough, but Mad World will be a HUGE game story-wise. Since I'm already going to start another game while developing MW, I see very few reasons why I shouldn't start now.

So, yeah, there's a very high chance you'll be seeing another Visual Novel from me.

Last, but not least.

It's so great to see that we're almost at fifty people financially supporting the game! I love working on MW but since I live off my projects, if this one didn't at least show lucrative potential, I wouldn't be able to work on it ('cause the rent ain't cheap). So, thanks, guys.

The work, although slightly hindered, continues. I hope I can bring the next chapter as soon as possible. See y'all later this week.

Thank you for your kind support.

Library File: "Vincent K. Hill"

Full Name: Vincent Killian Hill
Birthday:
Other Aliases: "Vincenzo", "Vinny", "Vinny Hill", "Silver Hand"
Nationality: American
Sex: Male
Has relic (Yes): Silver Sonata
Royal Guard (Yes): Director of Field Operations/Master/Founding Member

Bio:

Vincent K. Hill is a magical-relic user who is currently the Director of Field Operations and one of the four masters in the Royal Guard.

Son of a pianist and a prostitute, Vincent never got the chance to properly meet his parents. His mother passed while giving birth to him, and his father was killed when he was four. Adopted by the D'Attilio crime family for his relic's abilities, he grew up to be the most infamous soldier among them. Eventually, he left. The circumstances leading to that are unknown.

After his departure, he became a Bounty Hunter. Even though Vincent had been a Hunter for a short while, he quickly achieved the status of "Hunter Legend". This feat earned him a lot of respect in the underworld of magic since only a select few ever came close to it.

The years following Vincent's end of career as a Hunter were the ones that solidified his position as a crime lord. Vincent had the knowledge of the business, the skill of a Hunter, and the shiver-provoking magical relic. With little to stand in his way, Vincent controlled the entire state of New York from both ends. The crime overworld and the magic underworld were beneath him - and to this day - still are.

Vincent is highly proficient in using all sorts of guns and blades, due to his past as both criminal and bounty hunter. Employing his relic's abilities with mastery, he is able to use techniques only possible to him, granting extreme agility and swiftness with weapons. After being trained by Fiona, he also became a skilled martial artist.

Vincent is known to be a strict, stoic, pragmatic, and obviously, dangerous man. His vast knowledge of the workings of crime and magic is responsible for keeping the entire Royal Guard running. After Siegmund, he's the one closest to being called "leader".

Vincent has no known blood relatives.

A few extra facts:

-Vincent has the highest victim rescue "score" on raids(1553). It is only natural since the concept of "raid" began with him.

-In his mobster days, Vincent was named "Vincenzo" by his so-called father. In the streets, people referred to him as "Vinny". He profoundly hates both of these names and is known to get violent when mentioning them.

-He's the founder of the Courier Division.

-Vincent can play the piano.

-Vincent is illiterate.

World Concept: "Magical Relic"

Combat magic by idiots, for idiots. (Volume One)

Page four

When we think about Magical Relics, what instantly comes to mind is a cool - powerful ability, right? Well, it's actually way more complicated than that. As you probably don't know, the ability to awaken Relics was given to mankind by the dragons. As such, a Relic works almost identically to the dragons' magic. For many Relics, proper breathing techniques are needed to make the most of its power.

Contrary to popular belief, a Relic is not a singular ability but rather, innate mastery over a larger range of abilities. For easier understanding, let's go over some examples.

Kate has a Magical Relic that gives her the ability to throw fireballs.

John has a Magical Relic that gives him the same ability.

Kate's Relic enables her to create fire from soul energy.

John's Relic enables him to heat air in a certain radius, creating fire.

Kate has dominion over fire.

John has dominion over air and temperature.

Kate can train her relic to ignite any living creature from a distance.

John can train his relic to create ice.

Kate can train her relic to absorb fire.

John can train his relic to immune him to temperature changes.

While the two have seemingly the same abilities, their limitations and overall capacities are completely different. John is limited by air, while Kate is limited by soul energy. While Kate will have to study heavily to make the most of her Relic, John won't, since his Relic only needs an abundant and external resource to work. While John will have to train his breath, Kate won't, since her Relic relies only on herself. Each Relic has its own uses and weaknesses, but its overall usability depends only on its User.

To measure the strength and weakness of a Relic, the Royal Guard has a tier system, which goes as follows.
Measure: abilities-range-potential-drawbacks
Classify into tier: C<B<A<S<Theory (Type)

While the example below serves as a good base, the measure is relative from Relic to Relic.

Tier C Relic: Useful ability - Great range - Meh potential - Gives the user some type of ultra cancer.

Tier S Relic: Meh ability - Chaotic range - Chaotic amounts of potential - Little to no drawbacks.

As you can see, power does not beat usability and potential. What good is a Relic that creates explosions if it blows you in the process?

Although the tier system covers the majority of existing and cataloged Relics, the "theory" designation serves to identify Relics that can't be measured normally. Different from the normal tiers, theory-type designates both Relic and User. These are said to have enormous amounts of power and their limits can only be guessed (hence the name). Theory-types are said to have the ability to bear more than one Relic in their body simultaneously.

There are no notable examples of that designation available (aside from motherf*cking Aldelheim, of course).

Now that we've gone through Relic abilities, limits, and whatsoever, let's go over the elements Users and Relics can have.

No files today (important).

Sorry, guys. The amount of fuckery that went on that last release was unparalleled. Entire choice menus were wiped for no reason at all. I'm uploading 3.1.0.1 right now for new players, or anyone that might feel like re-running through. Since some other projects of mine also require attention, I won't have enough time today to upload a file.

But of course, I'm not letting you guys hanging after making you all re-run through the game all over again, so, starting tomorrow, seven photos taken from Robbie's SD card - four of them being Patron-exclusive. 'Cause, you know, you can't post NSFW publicly on Patreon *wink* *wink*.

By Chapter Four, the journal system will already be a thing, so this is really the last time we're all going through this. You won't have to re-run through the game, and I'll be able to sleep at night knowing I didn't bonk the saves of thousands of people.

Rise beyond frustration. Game updated to 3.1.0.0.

Download links on the pinned post.

A lot quicker, huh? I think I might settle for smaller chapters, after all. It's way quicker to polish and it lets me bring content a lot faster.

As I mentioned in a previous post, saves are broken. What I forgot to mention is that it's not all broken. If you have a save before Robbie's birthday, you should be fine.

The journal system I mentioned before is not fully implemented, yet. I'm hoping if I can code everything to my liking, I'll be able to develop a system that lets me prevent this type of mistake in the future by letting players pick variables manually (in a user-friendly way, of course). I really wanted to promise this kind of fuckup will not happen again, but we're working with the human factor, here - which takes us to...

I'm just one guy working on this game. I'm working on every step of the process on my own.

It's bound to be messed up somewhere.

As always, please, be welcome to report anything strange or out of place in this release. I will NOT hesitate to recompile and reupload the whole thing because of, for example, a typo.

And last, but not least, this project is a product of passion, and reading how much people have enjoyed it is always great. For that, I am truly grateful.

Thanks to everyone supporting and funding this. I hope this project rises to all expectations.

World Concept: "Bounty Hunters"

Transcribed from Vincent's lecture to the Courier Division.

[...]As you all know, I was once a Bounty Hunter. Back in the '90s, it was an honorable job, and it paid well. If you knew how to shoot - good. If you had a Relic - better. I had both. I was twenty-one when I first started, and at the time, Bounty Hunters were paid not to harm innocent people - but to bring death to those deemed deserving. Rapists, murderers, you name it. If anyone had a bounty on their head, there was always a good reason. Some drunk bastard using his Relic to keep his wife and kids in line, someone abducting people to sell them as sex slaves...we only got these types. Bounty Hunters acted as the judge and executioner on site. It was somewhat questionable, sometimes, but it was nowhere near today.

The skill of a Bounty Hunter lies in his ability to negate magic. Since the original Bounty Hunters were created to fight against ill-purposed Relic Users, it was inevitable some "techniques" were going to be developed to fare against them. Among the most famous ones, we have the ability to rip a Magical Relic from its User. A technique like that is messy by nature, so, in the hands of an inexperienced Hunter, it's bound to end in death. Bounty Hunters train with melee weapons to be as silent and clean as possible. It was not a job that required noise. Quite the opposite. Paper was hard to come by to those who could not use basic Hunter techniques without killing, so this narrowed the market down to a select few. This takes us to today's "Bounty Hunters".

Make no mistake - the original Hunters were professionals skilled in Dark Magic. Fought not only for coin - but for a sense of justice. Be it good or bad, they stood for something. Today's Hunters are cheap mercenaries. No restraint, no respect. They bring death for money, and occasionally, for fun. They are the sole reason our Couriers walk around armed and are trained to run across rooftops. When we devised the blockers, they didn't like it. Not one bit. Contracts started to vanish and Relic Users could walk among the people again. What did they do? They started targetting us. Many died, and some were lucky to live as the message. That's why the Courier Course is so unforgiving. I am not training you to deliver drugs. I am training you to survive. Out there, if they bring violence, you bring death.[...]

News about 3.0 (Tracklist, animations, etc).

Hey, guys. Some news I have for 3.0. Some good, and some not-so-good.

Some of the good stuff.

As I said in a previous post, following update 2.0 would come 2.1, which I planned to be the one where I remade some of the renders done in my CPU. This update would also come with a tracklist of the songs used that are not mine. And last - as a surprise - animations. Yup, you read it right.

The thing is, since Chapter Three, "Beyond" is dedicated to the Player Character's study of magic, it'll be split into three parts. Mind, Body, and Soul. Shorter subchapters, but overall, longer.

I somehow managed to finish most of the first part, so It'll be landing rather quickly. Due to that, I see no point in updating the game to 2.1 since 3.0 is so close. So, instead, what would be coming for a 2.1 will be on 3.0. Which we can all agree is great.

Some of the not-so-good stuff.

Starting with the worst one, while I was writing and re-running through the game I noticed I did not include any variables for Chloe's scene in Chapter Two, making it impossible to track for future choices (which breaks the story massively). Something that makes evident how much I rushed it before being one-hundred-percent sure it was good enough. So, because of my mistake, older saves will not work on 3.0. I am very sorry for that.

Another thing I noticed is that after Chapter Two, Andrew's fighting advice to the Player Character in Chapter Zero glitched. Since I indented "Annie" and "Andrew" in the same way, Andrew's name was changed to Annie's, which was probably very confusing to new players.

About animations, it's always good to have them, yes, but they do not represent the quality I want for my game. Unfortunately, I'm not working with a great rig, so that's everything I can do for now. At this point of development, I can't even think about saving for a new GPU. The money I've earned was spent on buying some more RAM and assets I needed.

As a way of getting a bigger audience, I've been thinking about launching a second game, with a story and setting that gives me a lot more freedom for writing lewd stuff. I'm not gonna say much about it, because I'm not getting near it until I'm sure it's not going to jeopardize my main and (at the moment) most beloved project.

Overall.

All the bumps aside, I wanted to make this post to list what's coming for 3.0.

-Animations on Elena scene in Chapter 0 and Chloe's scene in Chapter 1.
-Some (not all) renders redone.
-Tracklist.
-Font tweak.
-Journal system (sort of).
-First romance option (providing you've done a particular scene).

I hope by the end of this month I'll have a solid release for you guys, but, at the moment, that's all I have. See ya'll tomorrow with a World Concept.

Thank you for your kind support.

Library File: "Jianhong Cheng"

Full Name: Jianhong Cheng
Birthday:
Other Aliases:
Nationality: Chinese
Sex: Male
Has relic (No):
Royal Guard (Yes): Field Agent/Scout/Master

Bio:

Jianhong (better known as "Johnny") Cheng is a master of soul energy, currently working in the Scout Division, and, occasionally, as a Field Agent in Vincent's crew.

Jianhong grew up in Tampa, Florida - with his mother, Xinyue Cheng, and his step-father, John Gilmore, a Light-born. Jianhong's biological father died from a heart attack when he was four years old. That, however, never stopped him from forming a strong bond with John. When he was seventeen, he would come to witness the brutal murder of his step-father committed by his mother - who had seen the true skin of her husband and mistook him for some kind of demonic creature.

With his step-father dead and his mother in jail, Jianhong was sent to live with his grandparents in New York. After a short while, He left to uncover the secrets of the underworld of magic. Due to him discovering a natural talent for it, he became a drug dealer with hopes of getting enough money for even more expensive tomes. Obsessed with knowledge, it didn't take long for him to become a master.

At nineteen years old, Jianhong was already a known drug-dealer in the overworld and a powerful wizard in the underworld. His status led him to become very popular with women, which eventually led him to get caught with the wrong one, in the wrong bed. Having sexual relationships with the daughter of a famous bounty hunter legend earned him a million dollars for his head. Always being on the run with an increasingly high body-count, he was found by Vincent and Fiona. After a fight between the three, he was recruited to be a Scout for the Royal Guard, which he accepted.

Jianhong is one of the few people in the world capable of using drawn-magic as a lethal weapon. His signature ability (and weapon of choice) is a powerful spell based on the magic-drinking properties of the Dark Realm. Using his soul energy as a siphon, he can absorb the abilities of any relic user and magnify its power. Although Jianhong tried teaching this spell several times, no one ever mastered it due to its nature of drawing energy from the Ethereal Realm.

Jianhong is known to be (for a lack of better words) an asshole. But has proven to have a heart of gold (at times). In the words of Fiona Westley: "[...]You either hate him, or you love him and want to kill him."

He was also known to be a flirt before meeting his girlfriend, Maria.

Jianhong has a mother under a life sentence and two grandparents whom he visits from time to time.

A few extra facts:

-Jianhong is one of the two known people able to draw magic from the Ethereal Realm. The other one being Siegmund himself.

-He is the second member in the inner circle of the Royal Guard with the highest victim rescue "score" on raids (716), losing only to Vincent(1553).

-He developed his siphon spell on his own.

-Being on the Scout Division, he is able to travel through dimensions using his own drawn-magic.

-He is arachnophobic.

-No one actually calls him Jianhong. It's either "Cheng" or, less commonly, "Johnny".  It is unclear whether he adopted "Johnny" because of his step-father.

-He can't swim.

Cut from Nova's selfie with Jianhong and Omar. Date unknown.

A quick look into the future.

Hey, guys. I hope you're all doing great.

I'm seeing a lot of people ask about tags that are going to be present in future builds. As we all know, there is always that creeping fear of NTR. Even mentioning it is enough to send shivers down a grown man's spine. So, this post is to clarify as much as possible of future content without spoiling it, of course.

Future content

Some content/tags you should expect are voyeurism, public, exhibitionism, female domination,  group (as in more than three actively partaking on the fun - it's a harem game, after all), and lots of magic-involving stuff.

A tag you should definitely not expect is NTR. It doesn't have a place in the story.

About the main girls, expect a lot of content centered around each one of them - not only sexual - but just activities that bring out unique aspects of their personality. The six main girls are going to be available as romantic partners - each having their own special ending. Of course, some relationships will be available sooner for the sake of storytelling.

Expect some action from side characters, too. Remember Nova? Yup.

The Player Character

As you all have noticed, some choices are blue, or red. What does that mean? Do red choices make you more badass and blue choices more of a pussy? Is there a line between villain and hero? No, and no.

The Player Character is very dynamic. The two main parameters that define you are the "Avenger" and "Paragon" ones. Red and blue, respectively. A lot of people seem to be mistaken about how that system will work in the long run, so here are the details.

Red player choices

Do you rely on emotions like anger to drive you forward? Do you show no restraint to punish those that cross you? That's red. Red actions are associated with impulsive behavior, recklessness, and power over control.

Blue player choices

Do you keep your cool under pressure? Do you constantly suppress your true emotions for the sake of decision-making? That's blue for you. Blue actions are associated with calm behavior,  introspective thought, and control over everything.

Personality choices

Do you joke around a lot? Are you too serious? Do you go through every possible dialogue option available, or you'd just rather not talk at all? People will notice that.

What should I pick? Red or blue?

Well...whatever suits your playstyle. But keep in mind, nothing too extreme is good. Having too many points on either one will make you...unstable, to say the least. It's your call whether you become explosive, or just cold.

Also, keep in mind that what your character says and what options of dialogue you are given are directly associated with your alignment.

This might make walkthroughs for this game really difficult to come by due to dialogue choices being mildly different, but on the other hand, I doubt many of you will finish the game with the same character.

I would ramble more about what I plan for the game's core systems, how I will handle sandbox, and all of that, but it's too far into the future for me to set anything in stone, yet. So for the time being, that's what I have to say about it.

Last, but not least...

As I've said previously, coming up is the first weekly post containing art. On top of the weekly posting, I'll start uploading patron-only art, mostly NSFW. They are not tier locked, and I don't plan for it to ever be.

That's all I had to say for this post. I really hope to be seeing you soon.

Thank you for your kind support.

World Concept: "The Prime Conflict"

Transcribed from Almudan's lecture on Relic history

[...]Once, humanity knew a war like no other. Sure, we've had great wars - very bloody ones. Millions dead. But this one in particular...this one was fought for our very own right to breathe. In the age of the Prime Gods, men were bred only to serve - as were every other living being. The two most intelligent species were us, and our brothers of the dragon kind.

For safety measures, human men were allowed to live only until their 18th birthday, unless they were tasked with worship - then, they were allowed to die of old age. Women, on the other hand, could live until their 35th. Men were instruments of blood, raised only to serve, fight, kill, and die. Women were used for...other purposes. Like us, dragons had an age limit to them. They could only live for five years, before becoming too powerful for the Gods to handle.

Our world was nothing but a battleground for the Primes that were constantly seeking dominion over the earth. At that time, men and dragons were used as instruments of war. Men - blessed by the gods - waged war on the ground, destroying everything in its path. Plotting, murdering, spying, you name it. A god can't be worshipped if there's no one left to do so, right? Dragons, on the other hand, took the war to the heavens. With their endless magical power, their breath carried enough power to burn the blue off the sky.

We were different. We had different kinds of power. We had different dreams. But we had something in common: We were slaves.

Kydrynagg - The Great Dragon King, in his dying breath, ordered his kin to try and find a way to achieve freedom. The dragons, following their king's last request, sought the help of mankind to end the tyranny of the Primes. Neither of us trusted the other, but we had no other choice but to cooperate. Dragons, then, gave humans the ability to summon their power through, what we know today, as magical relics. Dragons and humans declared war on the Primes. We fought, we lost. Even with our power combined, we had no chance against them. Dragons doubled their power by employing the help of mankind, but it was still...not enough.

Well...that was until we figured out magic. With our past experience in employing divine blessings, we began drawing power not only from the souls of the dragons - but from the realms of the Primes. With this newfound power, we turned the tide of battle, and together - as one - we brought the Gods to their knees. Little by little, we began taking over the Earth. With centuries available to them, dragons achieved the power to shake the foundations of this world, and our connection... only became stronger. The Primes fought, and they were defeated, over and over again. They had power - but we had numbers. They decided the best course of action was to breed more of them, like we and the dragons, as animals, do. Now... now... no human-dragon intercourse jokes, now! *Laughter* That could never happen.

Gods were different from us. They weren't living creatures. The Primes were beings of pure soul energy, and as such, they could not breed like we naturally do. They could only split their souls into beings of lesser power, more human-like. These "Born Gods" were tasked with conquering the world in numbers, and then - when the time came - bringing the Primes back with the soul energy harvested from us. The Born Gods, however, had other plans. Born Gods grew attached to their existence, and refused to bring their "parents" back. For them, the Primes had it coming with their arrogance. This new generation, then, fled these lands and raised their own. Where? No one knows, and no one cares.

If the bastards ever decide to come back, we'll be waiting for them.[...]
