Had the pleasure to being asked to design a character basically from Scratch, and it was a real fun process.

Here's some context on this, my OCs live in a cyberpunk setting and they all play a VR game set in a medieval fantasy World, and Ajax is a mix of Bard and Barbarian : Bardbarian *

Basically he breaks your face and then he writes a song about it.

So this is the progress for probably the busiest commission piece I've ever done.

Main sketch with random colours to show the client so they can approve the position and all.

Lineart (the red lines are guides i make when I need to render fur, it's kinda the general direction it grows)

Did the main subject first, as he's gonna have the most detailed textures to make him jump out more.

Now working on the other dudes.
