Finally got it to "good enough" still a few tweaks to make eventually..and I want to release a version with sound sometime. But for now this project is drowning me in stress and I need to move on to working on more pages. It's still like 97% of what I wanted it to be. and hopefully I will do even better next time. This one has been giving me way more trouble than I expected it to. Eevee-next is noisier than expected and it's been very difficult to get rid of the spoltchyness on the fur without making the render times higher than Cycles :\

I still have a little work to do on it before it's ready for a public release though. But I really did want to show that I really am getting work done behind the scenes XD It's just been more challenging than I expected.

An update and an apology for the lack of content

I really hate putting up walls of excuses for why things have been slow, they make me feel unprofessional and like a disappointment but I might as well atleast let everyone know what's been going on.

Unexpected heatwave and daily storms

Work has been slow due to the heat index being around 100f here and we live in an old house with no AC so it's been kinda rough. And the only times it's been cool we have had constant thunderstorms. The good news is I'm feeling a lot better. The weird brain fog and random severe depression are starting to fade. Actually feeling excited about work again.

I'm feeling better and getting energy back after being sick for a while again.

Managed to pick up Covid again when picking up our new roommate from the airport. blegh... started feeling gross towards the end of last month and have been suffering with the usual miserable symptoms for me. The shortness of breath and brain fog will always be the worst. Thankfully not much coughing and I definitely don't feel nearly as bad as I did the last time so, small steps. <3

Community Announcement: Streaming

I'm really wanting to stream more to hang out with people and engage more. Plus I hope that some people are interested in my workflow and getting a look behind the scenes.

The lovely uncropped and full resolution versions of the images from the latest comic. I am genuinely excited with how beautiful these came out. This is by far the cleanest rendering method I have come up with. barely any de-noising, no up sampling. no fiddling with layers by hand. The Fur didn't need any denoising at all and was actually rendered at a higher resolution and the render times were actually affordable for doing comics. It's just like..perfect, and I'm so excited to get more made...
