May's tutorial for my Hey, Sensei folks! I wanted to go a little more into detail about how I go about getting the figures I draw to appear as though they exist, believably, in the same place, or on top of each other.
A lot of this is guesstimation from all the observations I've made in real life. I'm always a firm believer in taking the time to draw people or objects from your day to day life. Adding how certain objects/people move, and behave to your memory bank, can help ...

For my Sensei folks, I hope this helps out some if you're wanting to try drawing from new angles. Breaking away from stationary viewing angles can help add some extra interest to your own art! The key is not to over think it too much, and to accept that some parts of the body or subject aren't going to be visible.

Silhk isn't as easy going as Savori (except when she's performing), and gives Ganondorf a very hard time. So, you can imagine their relationship is very different. They don't like each other's assertiveness, but they're curious anyway.
Ganon meant duet literally, but Silhk is a nymph and can't help interpreting that to mean something else.

Something I've been workin on for a little while here! I've been fiddling around with the timing. I hope to maybe upgrade my computer by the end of this year so I can do longer, more robust sequences in free time. I'd honestly love to try syncing to sounds and figuring out how to make in between frames. Because I'm obsessed lmao. But! I think he's a really cool and well designed character. If you analyze him as a set, you can see how consistently he's considered by the game developers. There are lots of little things to point out that call back to his first official human appearance. I suppose I planned to have this set for March, but you guys can have it now. It was Ganon's birthday on the 21st, so I figured I'd make something lol. He got a big monster cake, and...something else. There's an included animation with all of the still frames. These 4 frames are repeated 3 times in a loop.
Next post I have up next is the tutorial. I think I'm gonna do a Ganon breakdown since I'm thoroughly obsessed. He's probably one of the hardest characters to lear...
