1up Girl - Rotoscope test
i just wanted to try rotoscoping!! was kinda relaxing and fun and didn't take too long. but i started out at 18fps and it was taking a reallyyyy long time to complete (even with a loose sketchy style)
so i tried it again at only 8fps which was a lot easier to manage. but the movement obviously isn't as smooth.
so i think if i try this again i'll attempt it at 12fps!
not sure if i'll actually do anything else with this song/dance or if i'll just attempt a new one but thought you...

Here's another preview of an animation i'm working on! This part I'll be completing in Flipaclip since it's a lot easier to do lip sync in that program. the actual frames will not be animated, just the mouth movements (that is why i put more effort into rendering the frames. if i tried to animate each frame like that it would take AGES to complete) XD
the "blood" in the last frame was supposed to be more of a hot pink, but in the photograph it just looks.... like blood. ahhh ...

little self-indulgent drawing tonight of my cham Melt and my friend Chu's cham Sophie!
they met at a rave and became friends so they like to go out and dance together. Melt's natural glow initially attracted Sophie (who loves glowsticks or anything glowy haha). Melt was already attracted to Sophie because she's a skilled dancer and it's hard for Melt to take her eyes off her.
they also might each have a crush on the other but shh don't tell anyone >3>!

oof it's been a busy few weeks. we might be moving soon (still not sure if we will) but we've been packing boxes, getting rid of a bunch of things we own, and cleaning the house just in case.
it's been pretty stressful and i haven't had much time to focus on artwork, but i have managed to finally get all the frames inked for this next video coming up!!

OK I DID IT!!!
I sat down for ~5 hours at a cafe and just powered through the rest of the work.
As per usual when exporting from Flipaclip the timing gets all funky, so tomorrow I'll work on fixing that up in Premiere (and adding the second part of the video with effects and stuff)
So here's the video without any edits and I'll hopefully have the finalized version for you guys tomorrow!! :3

I didn't realize how long this animation was taking until I saw I haven't made a post on patreon in a while T_T i'm really sorry about that. I've had my nose to the grindstone trying to get this completed asap but i made the DUMMBBBB mistake of choosing a character that is really complicated and not at all friendly to being animated. SIGH.
