Spike likes cooler weather... there is a thought process behind this. Dragons should like hot weather riiiigght? Well not all dragons! There are cold weather dragons too. But Spike didn't grow up in the Dragonlands, he grew up in a more temperate climate and got used to that. Living further west in the cooler climate of Ponyville he started liking cool weather even more! So not all dragons like hot weather.

So you've probably seen Wednesday's episode, "Mare to Mare" already. Here is an early work in progress version. There was a lot of changes including the entire delivery. By no means is this episode a masterpiece in artistic ability, but I think it went through some major transformations from the rough drafts you saw previous.

Wow... talk about rough! This was the first rough draft for Monday's comic. You will see the transformation (if any) in the final release. These early drafts help us with the placement of characters and give us a rough idea of how they should look or how they should be acting. Obviously we hid the punchline from you here. Doing some work for another Tumblr channel that helped us out early on. You may remember some of the posts we made about Banana Pie. Wednesday's episode is officially called, "Dress For Success." Obviously it hasn't been released yet, but it went through massive changes from our original sketches to what it became. So while not a perfectly done episode, this was the final release for, "Getting Real." We still would have liked to have improved the character models and some expressions, but time ran short and we had to release. We didn't have anything else lined up. I'm hoping to have a part 2 up tomorrow so you can see how this episode transforms into it's final product by Friday. This is after rough sketches have been done and final models are not complete. Text isn't finalized and some objects are just that, objects to be added in. This is the roughest stage of development after the rough initial sketch.
