ENG - I don't know if you are like me, but I keep seeing videos on instagram of people using crutches and analyzing whether they are walking well or not! Hahahaha. Do you have a standard on how to walk with crutches? I think it's bad when the person takes a step and stops and so on. Exactly like this video :/

ENG - My angry face I think says it all. It was the first and last time I used these Canadian crutches. I really didn't like them. I thought that here would be the end of castday! But I as the persevering person that I am, after this trial, I rented axillary crutches and ended up loving them!

ENG - I love those pictures with the feet dirty with plaster right after finishing the plaster. Does everyone find it a bit magical like me?

Sofa, Hip Spica's best friend.

ENG - The couch is the place that made me most comfortable because you can't move your waist much, and you need to be relatively upright and half bent over at the same time. The cast has an ideal angle for you to be comfortable. And the sofa provides that. And I also put on high heels to complicate things even more! :)

DE - Das Sofa ist der Ort, an dem ich mich am wohlsten fühle, weil man die Taille nicht viel bewegen kann und relativ aufrecht und gleichzeitig etwas gebeugt sitzen muss...

Outdoor Hip Spica!!

ENG - Not just anyone goes out with a cast that size on the street!!! I do and I love it :)

First Moments!

ENG - This is a challenging and very complicated plaster to make. While it needs to be comfortable, it also needs to be stiff and strong, because if the waist part is not strong, it will break. I made the cast on Friday night and was going to take it off on Sunday night, but we had a problem on the way and things had to change on Sunday at lunch. I will comment on what happened in the next post.

Good morning

ENG - Today I woke up better, because I am more used to the cast and had a more peaceful sleep. The plaster is very big and heavy, it makes me very immobilized. But it was relatively easy to get out of bed and walk on crutches.

DE - Heute bin ich besser aufgewacht, da ich mich besser an den Gips gewöhnt habe und ruhiger geschlafen habe. Der Gips ist sehr groß und schwer, er macht mich sehr unbeweglich. Aber es war relativ ruhig, aus dem Bett zu kommen und auf Krücken zu gehen.

Stuck on the couch!

ENG - I'm lying on the couch and I can't get out! I am a little uncomfortable, but at the same time I feel good in this cast that is squeezing me and restricting my movements.

ENG - It was definitely not a good idea to make this video in high heels on these stairs!!! I am now in a cast and will be for quite some time. This cast is squeezing me all over and I'm having a hard time doing anything.
