Wednesday Draw 10/7/20 (with a few process pics)

Hello there!  I come bearing art!  

In lieu of inktober, I'm doing something a bit different this year.  I wrote down about 30 evocative words on a sheet of paper, cut them into strips, folded them up, and put them in a cup (Colin added a few words as well).  On October first, I randomly pulled three words: Overgrown, Carving, and Silent.  My goal was to make a black & white dreamlike fantasy illustration based on those three words, and the results are above...

My goal for this set was to make it feel a little mysterious and magical without being explicitly Halloween-ish, so that you can use them for multiple occasions.

My First Riso Print!

Hi guys, just a fun little update to let you know that I got some prints done of my Angel Crossing piece.  

I've never worked with risograph printing before, and I felt it would be perfect for Angel Crossing because the somewhat soft and fuzzy quality would lend itself to the dreamlike effect of the image.  I think they came out super well!

I'm not terribly familiar with how riso works, but I understand it's like a mix of a copy machine and screen printing.  Colors ...

It's September I guess!  Most of you probably already know what the September sticker set looks like, as I included it in my launch posts.  I'll be fixing up the cut file a bit and getting those ready to ship out to all of you the week of the 15th.
