It is in one of the famous, so-called “white villages” of Andalusia, which is visited (or overrun?) by many other tourists besides us. All the small houses are white. Any other color would be rather unfavorable in this area, which is exposed to the blazing sun all year round...

So you go there to look at little white houses. Well, the village is on a hill, so you have a pretty nice view and the narrow street...

They say that today will be one of the hottest days of the year here in Málaga. And it's true, an almost scorching hot wind is blowing instead of the usual refreshing breeze here, and now, at 6 PM, it's 37° Celsius in the shade.

Looking at Africa

Yes, it is true: what you see in the background is Afrika, Morocco, to be more precise.

Here, in the very south of Spain, at the Atlantic coast, you are just a little jump away from Africa. The ferry takes about half an hour to take you there...

It is quite fun that I have more or less two seas here: right in Málaga the Mediterranean Sea, and just about an hour and a half by car you reach the Atlantic.

As you can see we have not been the only ones there...
