Usually,  when a photographer wants to take photos of a nice young and naked  girl, he puts the light so that every detail shines and then focuses the  lens to show all the beauty clearly. Most of the time I do that, too.

But  sometimes I think: less can be more. And so, for this little series I  just used the guiding light of the flashes and did not set any spot on  the hair because I thought...

beauty in Italian landscape (series)

The stubble field had really hard stubbles but that was no reason for  lovely model Yana not to sit down or even lay on it and let torture her  soft young bottom by the hard and dray remains of the plants.

I  am very happy with this series in the golden evening light of Tuscany.  But to be true, today I regret a bit that I did not take photos of the  marks the stubbles left on her little round bum.

It happens sometimes that destiny (or whatever) is nice to me, like that  afternoon when I met a young, a bit roundish but nice woman in a café  in Barcelona. Of course we had the common small talk and so soon she  knew that I take photos of naked women.

Big plants and a little girl :-)

I took these photos of beautiful Yana quite a time ago but then, when  Yana and I separated, I just forgot about them. They laid around lazy  on my hard disk, unedited, and sad.

It was a beautiful late afternoon with ideal soft and golden light for a beauty shooting. For  once I took some distance of her although at that time it still cost me a  lot to move more than 2 millimetres away from her :-) and shot this beautiful series with a 200mm lens.

Change from "Power" to "Special"

happy beach afternoon (series)

Spain is a beautiful country. Since I travelled the south coast, the  north coast and a lot of the centre, I am tempted to say: it for sure is  one of the most beautiful and varied countries.

While there are  absolute tourist places, crowded and filled up to the maximum, the coast  covered with ugly concrete and glass, sometimes you just drive some  minutes and reach places - here a beach - where there is almost nobody  and just pure, beautiful nature.

The final corrected version

So that you can see the difference here's the corrected version of the same image. The lines are now straight - but that was achieved by the software, not by the lens...

Sony Cybershot and DxO Optics Pro software

Only for those of you who are interested in technical details here I show the image as the camera shoots it RAW (in the next post you'll see the corrected or "developed" version)  and tell a bit about the Camera and the software used in the last series:

It is a Sony Cybershot, the one that has a Zeiss-Lens and can shoot 20 megapixels in Sony's own RAW format.

I (almost) always shoot in manual mode, and really always in RAW. To develop the Sony pics I use the "DxO OpticsPro" software...

Katlyn in Chartres (series)

After 10 days in Basel with my mother I finally started my trip. I  headed for Paris over the highway. There wasn't a lot of traffic on the  highway, but close to the city the street filled up and finally I stood  on the highway between thousands of cars...
