Lia Lounge WEB/Early res
This took longer than I care to like, but as usual, i'd rather work on it til i like it than settle..so here's Lia's voted pinup from Feb!
She's a studious programmer and tech nerd. A little more upfront than Twix or Zofie sometimes, and given a little cafe nook to nestle in, I could see her willing to mess around with a bit of risky fun.
I included Fem versions too, because I don't think Lia would be opposed to the idea of either body, something I try to take into consideration with even for-fun alts. Enjoy!

Off to a bit of an odd start...after IRL errands today I updated some PC drivers only for it to BSOD constantly afterwards. Even after restore point, still more BSODs. Hours of troubleshooting, backing up files and preparing to wipe Windows or run Memtest, etc, I seem to have found the culprit in a BIOS setting coupled with a GPU software setting. Alas...I lost the entire day worth of work time.
Hopefully smooth sailing from here--I am overdue on this Lia picture, and I'd like to spend March finishing up a lot of already-started works. Things that could use refine, and colour. I think I over-thought myself on the last picture, so I am going to attempt a more "go with the flow" style here this month.
The two biggest bullet points are: Predators2 is getting printed! the first copies i'm looking at preview photos now to make sure it's all good. And 2: setting up a Patreon Discord..I'm going to do my best at looking into this (I know nothing about hosting/creating one), and will make it a point to develop in a way that it makes getting rewards, seeing art, and other tier goals easier. I don't think it would be public, at least yet.
In terms of "to-do" lists.. I have a 25$ tier picture to make, the ARA sitting animation to finish, and I'd love, if I can, to get back to a reliable streaming schedule for you all, both public and 10$+ tier streams, which I have been shamefully missing.

So, in the process of qorking on this Lia picture, I've kind of realized a few things.
I don't actually know what about it, but I greatly dislike something in my process. I still love sketching, I've done a TON of it this year so far.. even inking, while it isn't my favourite, hasn't been too taxing on my art drive. Even flatting, same thing.
But I think as soon as I get back to the 'high rendering' phase, I suddenly drop, and I think it's because I've been mentally preparing for the comic, in which I know won't be inked or high rendered. I'm not sure. I wish i could paint like some artists, and maybe I could, but i feel it'd take me so long to learn that I could get numerous other ideas down in sketch/flat form.
In my head i try to tick too many boxes in too short of a time span. Maybe the voting is doing more harm than good, or maybe I worry about trying to make sexy work in the same piece as the clean stuff and it's suffering. Not sure.
Anyway, not really complaining, just thinking out loud to you all, since you support me. it's important to be clear where my head is given that it affect direction and content. Hearing back from you all is usually a great help as to where to direct my energies and where it might be struggling from a different POV.

Folks voted for Lia this month! I realized a little late that it wasn't all too long ago I did a big pinup of her..but people still overwhemlingly wanted to see her again, so I'll oblige while making it a different feel than before. Previously was her out and about in the city being a little cyber gremlin, on a back view, so I wanted a front view, more casual/relaxed in nature, somewhere she'd be more likely to hang out most of her life.
She's kind of a shy shut-in and shifts around a lot, prefers getting lost in crowds or finding hidden nooks to work or learn. there will be more to this picture, obviously, her male parts, clothes, a couple matching expressions, and a mood/light shift to reflect some of them, but I've found that I end up wasting a lot of time doing all that in the sketch phase too, when I'm just going to redo it later after inking the base image.

Hey supporty guys and gals!
A break from the horny stuff--the first leg of the story will largely take place in Kan Rein City on Serko, homeworld of Nytro and Twix. Zofie's homeworld is Berhil, another planet in the same system, but her story begins moving here.
So a few obvious things: Kan Rein is not a planet-spanning city, nor is it the only megolopolis on Serko, but by far the largest. The map I've made of Serko i'd say is not 100% finalized, but maybe 90%. The scale -should- be correct, there's one main continent here, the rest of the relatively small planet water-covered, which will have relevance later. I went into some thought and detail about certain structures, buildings, and views to better get a feel for this, and hopefully I could use some 3D elements later on to be even more consistent.
Serko has rings, and part of the function of the defense installations is to wipe out aberrant asteroids that bounce out of the rings. Another is to wipe out any within the Retizan System as a whole, protecting Berhil and other planets. A third function is FTL projectiles with the system rings above, as well as bending light for direct-energy applications. It can fire kinetic or thermal outputs, and they existed far outside of the cities originally,but as the cities grew, it makes it look like the things were just slapped in the middle of the bay.
A lot of this is...relatively superficial and while will be mentioned in the story, it's mostly background funsies for right now, and will help elaborate on some professions, resources, and politics later on.

So the vote was for one of my OCs. a 'canon' pinup, meaning something that could happen in-character, in-storyline and the realm of believability, so not things like cosplay, odd pairings, new or divergent activities or what-ifs, but things like them in their environment, slice of their life/POV, and give a bit more personality insight.
Personally, I can see images of such nature in my head for all of the following characters, narrowed to a handful that have not had pinups either at all or in some time. 3 males and 3 female, i'm hoping to do this in the style of the HD pinups, so likely with at least a few alts and fun details.

I was bullied into making a 'super-POV' ass shot. Just a really, really close up to try it out, mid-Rarity stream the other week, so it turned into my other favourite pony, Luna. Makes sense, after all. Variety, 'full moon' jokes, etc. I think it turned out OK!

Finished that Rarity, went a little extra because she's easy on the markings and I love her. Was fun! Got a good couple of requests in this month, hope to do a few more in between further comic concept and development pieces in Feb!
Thank you all for supporting me this month, I know it's been tough for a lot of folks, and you paying for my food, shelter, and life is beyond everything I could've hoped for. Finished(sort of?) Zofie's reference! There are some added fields, and some reworking of some data, which I need to retroactively go back into Nytro and Twix's to update too, so will do that later.
Also unsure if a 'pussy close up' is...necessary? Or if it feels out of place? I'm unsure about it, since I gave the males close-ups due to sheaths, felt it fair to give the females the same, since I do want to show that I give them slightly different shapes and lines just like the boys.
Anyway, I hope you all enjoy the text and details along with her looks!

Welcome to 2024! Where we go...
It's a new calendar! And with Predators2 complete, refs and background work being laid for the scifi project, it's time I lay out some things for all you followers and supporters!
First, thank you for 2023. I had my first and only child this year and your support has helped us through it. It was very well planned and managed, thankfully, so it wasn't a surprise, but I -really- couldn't have done all I did without your pledge, so, mahalo nui loa for your kokua, understanding and care.
Second, this year i will absolutely be starting the canonical story that my scifi characters are involved in. It feels weird to finally say that, but things are settling into place. I'm still not 100% sure what is best in terms of platform, presentation, or style? But I think I'm close. It will be R-rated, for adults, but the 'primary content' won't be X-rated; there will be secondary work i do on the side that consist of one-offs or side comics showing the in-betweens.
Third, that leaves with an idea of what the schedule will look like. In a perfect world, I'd get a page/week done, and to do that I'd need a loose style I can settle on, as Pred2's style was just too time-consuming. But, since I do other things, like aforementioned adult work, merch stuff, and the like, I'll have to keep in mind that this bonus content comes after the primary story, so that amount may vary.
Fourth, Rewards and Tiers. What does that look like, in this kind of context? I'm even less sure of that, so I'll be looking at what some other artists might do, or if you have some suggestions, I'll be open to listening. It may require some re-structuring of the standard 1/5/10/25 amounts, and their benefits. It'd be great if I could stream more regularly and associate those benefits there, as well as...
Fifth, and last major point: Discord. I'm aware most people PROBABLY are in a minimum of 300 discord servers by now, so when I make this, it will be tailored towards my work and rewards, rather than being a full-course meal 'for everyone' server with loads of channels and stuff, but.. hey, we'll see what the community brings. Starting small, as a place to organize my art, gift art, lore, etc..
So that's all for right now! I was not told by anyone, but I am only now realizing...I never sent out the ZIP rewards for November, so I will post that along with December's content here as well, once I sleep and wake up. Then, it's likely time to do my best to finish editing Predators pages for print, which I've been putting off to do Holiday work.
I'm looking forward to this year with you all, I hope you enjoy it and my work, and if you don't--please, give me some suggestions or feedback here first! It's the only way to improve.
