Besides private commissions, progress had been slow. Been focusing mostly on health and solutions that could help with my poor sleep. Same old same old.

A couple more Deltagoon stuff and mostly sheathe experimentation. I just realized i never really drew sheaths before so I gotta figure it out. Katia's boutta get one for funsies
Speaking of, I've experimented with belly nipples on Katia cause i thought it'd be cute and it does work. Gotta play around with that in the future lol
Would be funny to see her have that painted on bikini she has in the comic but she doesn't cover the tummy nips.

Prequel Humanoids test

Been figuring out a different way of doing humans in the Prequel style. I've practically nailed drawing Quill and Katia and there's still some more experimentation left for the beast races as far as variety is concerned.

For now though, I had to figure out a good way to do humanoids. I tried going for a hybrid between Ratopombo's style and Prequel that I ended up really liking. With that, here's some doodles of Queen Ysabel from ES:Castles, my lovely breton wife!

They make a cute couple. they probably still catch a whiff of the old king on each other and it probably drives them wild and emotional.
also kind of a test to see how i'd draw humans my way rather than replicate the prequel style like i'd be doing with beasts and argonians.
ill try drawing her without the headdress tomorrow based on the splash-art. hadn't really been feeling good today.

Kinda feeling indecisive but leaning towards the new one, the thicker squarer cheeks kinda feel weird with the artstyle. The smaller thinner cheeks feel more in line with the style plus it kinda reminds me of the Skyrim Khajiits

I wanna try the prequel style, but i need to experiment on what works for her before settling on that

Quick Little Update

Sorry for the lack of content the past couple of days, attempts to try and stick to a sleep schedule kinda just doesn't work so it calls for a change of plans:
Instead of a strict schedule, i just sleep when i get tired and that i tire myself out with exercise. It had been going good so far, it leads to me falling asleep around twice a day for 5-7 hours a pop which isn't so bad. I actually feel more lively than how it was before.

Anyway, i'll definitely be trying to get back to post...

Prequel Sketches from both today and yesterday

Some few more stuff i did. I considered having Katia don elven armor, but i thought the Thalmor outfit was more iconic and straightforward. It's also cuter on her

I also did some other tests like figuring how to draw Katia crying and how best to draw her tears.

Also earlier in the sketch of her getting plapped i kinda drew her with less clothes till i changed it to have more of the thalmor gear stay on like the addition of the belt and gloves.

I'm going to try and sleep early tonight. I can barely function when my sleep is screwed and last year was hell for that.

i guess the biggest thing i hate about occasions and vacations is how they really throw me off my swing and momentum and getting it back tends to be slow
also i went to a funeral the other night and stayed till almost day and now my sleep schedule is screwed, which im trying my damnedest to fix.

Anyway, I think I'm really starting to just completely nail this artstyle.
