It was impossible to tell time in the labyrinth. The sky overhead shifted and changed constantly, with no variance in the level of light. They alternated walking through the bare labyrinth, occasionally climbing through particularly thick drifts of sand, with sitting in clearer stretches and practicing their cycling. After the third cycling break, Chang-li handed out some of the dried meat rations. He passed the canteen around.
"Be careful with it.”
They had not seen any w...

The classes changed everything. Sage's squadmates were racing ahead of her, chattering excitedly, looking for creatures to kill. Each time they flushed out a basking iguana or jackrabbit from under a bush, they'd race over to check for a skill seed. Most of the small creatures yielded nothing. No Klingon battle cruisers or Millennium Falcons. Most of them were like giant cargo contain...

We swept the town, clearing our way down the street one building at a time. The livery stable was filled with undead horses and a loft full of zombified lizard folk. We cleared it out by the book, taking down zombies with headshots.
The saloon held patrons still sitting at their tables playing cards though undead. When we entered, it triggered a bar fight. It was a bizarre juxtaposition, like the Western bar fights I've seen in dozens of movies, with cowboys and bargirls in...
