I'm really excited after getting Boofs new look sorted so he's been on my mind a bit. I started this and wanted to focus on how heavy and wide his step is. But didn't stop to think what the context was, so I'm going to try and have a think on that.
Worst case I just keep it as it is and just detail it up.

Ok so because this month was full on real life wise due to having to help out with painting the house, I didn't get much time to follow through on much new. HOW EVER did managed to work out more details on the Boof art and update and refine some of them a little bit. So while it's not "new" it's "updated" so it's all roughly on par and ready for a gallery upload at least.

All that car chasing has really helped Boof here to slim down!

Ok so this is the next thing. I like the darker pad look but I'm not sure on a exact shade. I've
been experimenting.
Option 1 is as dark as I can go without losing all detail on the pads and having them look like pure black voids. I also made the nails lighter so they'd stand out better against the new darker colour.

I made Boof to be a personal alt for reasons. Something was feeling off, I talked to some people and worked out what the problems were, in my minds eye at least. Basically Boof was a bit too "macro big dog" instead of "Personal bastard alt" So things were weird, forced just didn't feel right.

Boof is a firm believer in pair pressure. By that he believe in applying pressure with his pair of paws.

So continuing off of the last post, an explanation.
So this all started with that first picture of Drakk with his feet up. I was trying something with the lighting and I like how the shadows gave him this orange tint. It just felt warmer and less pale, easier on the eyes to look at. It's more noticeable if you flick between the old versions next to the new.
I know it's fairly subtle but I think it works way better and now that it's done I feel more confident going forwards with...
This one was something of a experiment, I wanted to try and focus on a specific area. But it didn't come out very well at first so I've been picking away at it and I did some study. Wanted to get the ass right and I think it's come out pretty decent! Threw in some micros (a few familiar faces) and updated that older picture of the Cobra lad to have his new look and assets.

There's been a few pictures floating around twitter lately to do with Capybaras and that reminded me that I have the perfect actors to follow through on a little scene. But boy did I underestimate how slow I am at line work because this one took way too long to make ha.I'm happy with it though, got to use some of my neglected bird boys.
Anyway wasn't sure so just made a few alts and saved each frame out in case anyone wants a particular one for any reason.
