OK so the ball is starting to roll a bit! Got the first Donk picture sorted and as a little bonus, kassy sitting in a car park. The version up with no colour correction on it is just a example of his colours in a natural state. For myself as a reference point more than anything but I figure someone might want to see it too.
The two comics with donkey boy here are going to take a little while to update. But I'll try to post updates/them up as soon as I can.

Getting two for one today, it's been busy!
So little sneak peak at what I'm doing. Finally worked out the colours I want to go for. So getting some flats slapped down, updating the ears and hair and tail, cleaning some things up a little. This isn't done but I wanted to show off how it's looking withe the colours on.
I'm probably going to hold off on this until next month but I really wanted to get a idea down. I retool a sketch from a few months back and added to it. then after some help gave what I think is some fun context. I'm also thinking about maybe doing some slots for people getting stomped on this.
But yeah just, been in a big mood for the Angel boy lately ha.

I kind of ended up going back a little bit on this guy. I also wanted to add a little context to one of the pictures and that ended up spiraling out of control as you can see in the first one there.

Suddenly a slug man thing. Who knew that was coming? because I sure didn't.
Ok so I cannibalized one of last months sketches and just was picking at it and it kind of morphed into this. This last week has me in a bit of a low brain power mode so I have no idea where to go with this but I think it came out well enough. A big space slug will have some uses I'm sure.

This is something I've been meaning to do for a while. I wasn't happy with the wings and I didn't feel like going forward until I had that sorted out. At first I wanted to do something small and easy but would compensate for that by making them have a complex pattern. Problem is that just looked like a hot mess how ever I tried it.
So I've decided to bite the bullet, make his wings much bigger but keep the colours on them simpler. I think he's looking a lot better for it. I also fixed...
Ended up taking a lot longer on these than I was expecting but I think it was worth it. Wanted to experiment with drawing a Mammoth given they're adorable and they have some nice heavy... body types yes.
Also the Capybara poll results are in and it was pretty heavily leaning in favor of the 4 Fingers & 3 Toes. So updated that one picture and will look into finishing up and updating the rest of the art for him now that this is sorted.

I've kind of not had any solid ideas for it so just been picking away at this page. I'm not sure on any of it though so will have to come back to these and this idea at some point. Been working on his colours and clothes, I want to base him off a long tailed bat (A New Zealand grounded bat) so going to tweak his face and ears more as well as experiment with colours and fur.
I'm pretty happy with where his clothes are at though! I'll try to get him sorted tonight but before then got to help build and set up some cabinets for the grand parents first :'v
