2025 May WIP 2 - Of Dragons and Sheep

So here's the "a little more on that" which was promised.

So ah, been getting teased by people and having some thoughts...
In this case been having a lot of surprise dragon moods popping up. More of that fairly soon though. :3c

Also been messing around with some lighting techniques that I learned. Been really liking the effect so going to try and remember to use that. The rest is just the usual "Kassy being a adorable menace" par for the course.

2025 May WIP 1 - Boys will turn into other boys.

I might just have to admit defeat and say that Kassy is a shape shifter, you know on top of being a size shifter. Because this boy sure does get around. But a little more on that next upload :3c

Which should only be a day or so away.

2025 April WIP 4 - End of Month Wrap Up 2/2

Aaand Part 2!

I ended up doing a lot of experiments behind the scenes trying to finalize the colours on Sheep Kassy here. I'm quite happy with how they're sitting currently. Been wanting to try and get as many details nailed down as I can so I can go ahead and make the reference sheet for him and the old Ram.

Also been thinking on and off about trying him out with claws, it's been a mood that comes and goes pretty hard from time to time. So need more experimentation here. If not ...

2025 April WIP 3 - End of Month Wrap Up 1/2

Somethings a little new and a little old.

Going to break this up into two posts because, frankly there's a fair bit and I'd rather give each batch some room to breathe a little.

I did have some alternative plans on how I was going to end the month, but a fair few things got a bit on top of me. So those will be coming to fruition going into May instead. There will likely be a couple of WIP posts as well, just a few things that got put aside a I wanted to get the last two pictures done...

2025 April WIP 2 - Even More Buns

Sorry things have been a little late. Last week has been extremely chaotic.

Anyway here is the wips for the current higher tiers reward (Still feel like there's got to be a better name for that but we'll work shop it.)

Tried something different this time, which was to do the shadows before I started the flats and honestly, I think I kind of like working that way. Normally doing the shadows is this big long final tasks that takes forever and feels terrible.

But doing it so...

Easter Parade

Who knew even the micros celebrate it! Well, celebrated it...

Listen I was almost on time with this one, but I got a little carried away in some areas. I do think it was worth it though.

I like to think the microless version is him just catching you out sneaking a peak. Shameful.

2025 April WIP 1 - Buns to come

So the goal was to get this one with Keith done in time for Easter, I'm starting to see that was a little bit ambitious ha. Still, shouldn't be too far off at least.

Also a little taste of what's coming with Titus in the reward for the upper tier poll.

Also also some more wips coming soon, there was a bit of a hiccup with the previous couple of months worth of files (they came out at a much lower quality than they should have been.) So I'll be saving those out again to uplo...

2025 April WIP 1 - Thinkin' about those dog Beans

Was thinking about some of those earlier sketches of Kace as a bit of a dork, and wondering what that look would feel like with Kassy's colours.

Turns out pretty good so hey, maybe we end up with two dogs.

Also sorry it's been a hot minute, been a busy couple of weeks so the uploads fell behind. But there's plenty in the background that's coming soon.

Hanging Around

My April Fools joke for this year will be pretending I got this one done on time for March, EHHEHEH.

Ok but legitimately, the making of this was a bit cursed. I started fine, then was bed ridden with a terrible flu for over a week, then felt better and then was bed ridden AGAIN due to one of the worst migraines I've had in years. That on top of me being overly ambitious on it (Originally this was only going to be the first panel only.) So this kind of took a while longer than it needed ...

Big Bun

Getting ready for Easter a bit early this year.

But yeah, been playing around a bit, seeing how new Kassy's colours work on different species, I feel really good on the sheep and so now we get to mess about being different things :3c

It's been working fairly well I think.
Have to admit he looks pretty good as a bun.

This is just something small for now while I work on the next piece that got a bit bigger than I had first planned ha.

2025 March WIP 5 - Buns and Bats

Collection of things to come, some bunny thoughts, the picture with Peka has, expanded out to say the least.

Also been experimenting with Kassy's horns a bit. Been thinking about giving them a bit of a kink at the tips, but still not sure on it though.

It's the boooys being big menaces as usual. Well that and teasing someone in a slipper I guess.

Also don't ask me why I love sticking wings and halos onto things but I really just love that.

2025 March WIP 2 - New Clothes

OK yeah so been thinking about those toeless socks a lot and been thinking about a matching look to match them. So been starting to dabble into that a bit. I wouldn't say these are permanent changes, but it might be an outfit that comes around when the situation is right.

It's been nice getting to dress up Kassy since the changes.

Oh also some sleepy boys and eldritch shenanigans.

2025 February WIP 4 - Voles and Donkeys

So been having a back and forth with a friend about them being a Donkey for a while now. So I finally got off my butt to make it happen. May the Hee Haws continue.

Also been interesting because I've not done a reference sheet in a long, long time. So it's been a good crash course in figuring somethings out with those. I'd like to try and do something proper for my own lads at some point.

2025 February WIP 1 - Public Transport in High Demand

Been thinking about those funny breakfast cereals shaped like vehicles.

Also been thinking about Drakk quite a bit this month. I want to try and do more with him I think. I also have been playing around with drawing him with eyes for once. I think it works to have them be covered up, but still there. Something about the eye contact really does add a lot to a dragon.

RIP those buses.
