August (Web Size)

August was rough for me, so only a few images to share. A painting and a sketch, for Enigma/newdarkcloud and Viri/tehviriden respectively! Both done in Rebelle 6, trying to shake things up a little bit, to sometimes mixed day results. Needs more experimentation with settings and brushes to make sure I'm getting the look and style I want! The Bruce sketch is a WIP for another bodybuilding pin-up I'd like to do.

This  one was a challenge and a half! Not in the artistic sense, but had a  lot of computer trouble while I was working through it, including some  happening that caused me to lose some progress. A painting for DraenethDragon ! Look, having spooky, dark-looking powers  is all fine and good, Artok... But it's a little intimidating when  you're just using it to stir your tea.

Synas, a Leonin Druid of the Circle of Stars (at least, in spirit), that I'm playing in Draeneth's campaign he's running with some other friends. c: I'm still figuring out some of his personality and such, but this quiet, somewhat awkward, older dude has traveled a long ways from home across Faerun, helping various communities and caravans as needed. With seemingly no destination in mind, using only a weathered star map and a set of cards to guide him, he's managed to find himself in Neverwin...

One challenge I'm still  facing with backgrounds is sense of scale. It's a detail I always gloss ...
