Shot this a while back with Emily in studio but never had a chance to get to it!
Shot against plain black seamless paper with a fog machine.
If you ever try to shoot colored fog, just remember the fog only takes the color if you aim the gelled light right at it. So you can easily have 2 different color combinations of fog if you wanted too :]

I love doing this style of portrait work! And canvas backdrops are amazing for things like this! Brings a lot of texture and slight variations in the way everything is lit up in the back :]

I LOVE all the textures on this cosplay, and she did an AMAZING job creating the entire thing!
Everything EXCEPT the particles were shot and done practically in camera, in studio!
Shot this all against a black seamless backdrop, with my fave dead tree placed behind her strategically so it frames well, and then of course the fog machine!
Make sure to have a light source from above if you want to achieve that glow effect coming from top down!

Awesome cosplay with Manzi of Jill Valentine! This is actually a preview of some images with her to come in July! We did shots of Jill and also Maria from Bloodborne! Those are gonna be siiiiick!
