Ranma (who was turned into a sex doll in the prequel to this story, Purchased) is bought by Nabiki and accidentally turned back to normal (when the ring that turned him into a sex doll was removed from his finger, unaware of the ring's purpose). She believed he would eventually be freed, unaware that Nabiki had actually bought her (as a sex doll) to modify her into a lifelike mannequin for her costume shop.
