I think I've done this less than ten times so far, for big chapters, and for bad ones. And that is invoking my right to delay updating the story because the chapter is not ready.
The simple truth is that it isn't good enough. I have 'today', which is the day in which I post to edit. But I cannot see a way in 8 hours where I'd be able to fix all the issues in the part that is written--and finish writing what I have planned.
As it is, I would release a mediocre chapter at best...
