Can I just bullet point this entry...

It feels like I should. I haven't had access to my computer online with working internet in almost a week. Needless to say, but I'm going to say it anyway, that is always a revealing situation. Lacking internet access is far from the worst thing, but due to my job and general methods of making money, lacking access to the internet can be more rough than it should be.

I'm not going to bullet point this entry, but there's a lot of information below.

New Home | Jersey City | Set

Here is the complete set of first photos in my new home! And I've finally, almost, completely organized my space so that I can use it for more photos more often (it's kind of difficult to shoot around packing boxes and clutter). But now everything in mostly organized! So I have all of the rooms to use - and the bathtub!

New Home | Previews

These are my first self portraits on my camera in my new place (I took these in the corner next to my refrigerator). I hope you like them - I find the sunlight in my new place to be more harsh than in my apartment in Baltimore, so my camera adjustments to account for that were a bit unfamiliar for me.

I’m so excited to work with him again this month! He also had his account shut down for a bit here and thankfully had it returned! The new crackdowns are a bit irritating - and by “a bit” I mean completely. I’m still, at the moment, without internet! But I have decided I’m going to somehow use my cell phone hotspot to get my travel folder done! So hopefully this works! I’m also currently editing/retouching some photos the lovely Freya Gallows let me take of her, and I’ll be posting...

Tomorrow

Happy fourth to everyone celebrating tomorrow! I’ll be sitting at home with my bebes seeing fireworks out the window, cooking, trying to slowly use internet (still not installed!), answer email finally on my phone (because thank god for my cell phone data), and also doing self portraits! Which I’ll be uploading soon too! The photo above is by Matt Kelly.

At least the light is beautiful...

Who would have thought finding an internet service provider in one of the largest metropolitan areas on the planet would be so damn difficult...at this point, it’s starting to feel like pure, unadulterated incompetence. But really. It’s incredibly irritating to call multiple companies and have no internet. Hopefully I can figure this out soon since a lot of my work is online.

Going home tomorrow! Signed the lease, ate pizza and some cold pressed juice thing (pineapple, carrot, orange, ginger, lemon) that was warm. Which was truly odd. I’m going to post pretty photos Kelsey Dylan took tomorrow and I can retouch my self portraits in the comfort of my home without feeling like I’m frightening other passengers on the transportation options I choose.

On the way to New Jersey

I'm, once again, on a train to New Jersey. That in itself is not at all exciting, but I'm on the way to sign my new apartment lease! I'm pretty excited about that, and perhaps a bit too much because I did not sleep at all last night.
