Today I've mostly been at home painting, updating my print store, and trying to answer my emails while making travel plans - particularly for Europe and Canada.

In April, I'll be making my last trip to Canada until 2020. Trying to plan out the whole thing, all of the various train travel I'll need to do, plus my hosting, is a bit difficult. And I really, really do not want to pay for an airbnb in Ottawa. So, working around that is a bit funny. Last time I was in Ottawa, I stayed at a cute apar...

Journal 2.6.2018

Tonight, walking through Cambridge, I passed a Korean restaurant I ate at the last time I was here. I'd gotten done with a day of shooting, after an overnight bus ride in from NYC. I was carrying a backpack, a bag of groceries, a garbage bag full of vintage clothing. I stopped in before the dinner rush, and I ate soup, egg rolls, and an entire entree of fried rice in about 20 minutes because I hadn't eaten anything since the night before.

I had a great time getting my gmail account disabled for emailing myself too many times with photos today (my phone was not syncing properly to my computer or icloud today). So, just so you know, gmail will disable your account if you email too many times too quickly.

The other day I wrote the year down wrong. Twice in short succession. I fixed the first incorrect date and then proceeded to incorrectly write down the date on a separate space on the same document. It's 2018, and my brain is lingering somewhere in December, probably right before I got on the last flight I took that month. On the way

I’m going to DC currently. I’ll be in DC until tomorrow morning and then getting back on the train to Baltimore to pose for an art class. I’ll be home for a few days until traveling to Philadelphia on the 1st, coming back to Baltimore on the 2nd, and then taking an overnight train to Boston on the 3rd. I shot with Dakota on Monday, and I'll be uploading the set tonight. Unfortunately, I only shot with her for around 5 minutes as the light disappeared! So, hopefully we will shoot again sometime for a longer amount of time. :)

Sorry I've been a bit absent the last couple of days. I've been dealing with more emotional bullshit, but I think it's actually, finally over for good. It's been ongoing for over a year, but I think it's finally over with forever. Which is a bad feeling, but also a good one.

Preview from some self portraits today - which I will be redoing actually. 

Shooting this set was sort of a disaster for me as far as self portraits are concerned. My camera fell over and missed a bunch of shots, I could figure out how to position it properly, the light wasn’t good, it didn’t come out the way I wanted...

But, I’ll post the few shots I got at the $5 level later tonight. And I’ll be reshooting the set tomorrow!

Do something similar to my pinned flower series. Now that's completely fine. I told the specific person that was fine.

And I received a message about it from a friend of mine today sending me the photos this person took.

And they are pretty much exactly the same.

Same sort of light. Same sort of color scheme.
