Lots of new things to post soon!

I've been doing a bit of other work recently but am going to be doing a bit of an image dump (probably tomorrow evening!) on my site along with a pretty long journal entry.

I have a lot of exciting things to write about in the last month. It's been a very entertaining start to the new year. It's amazing to think we'll already be in February  - and closer to my favorite holiday, Valentine's Day.

Going through my archives today, I realized I had never posted a group of photos from my shoot in 2019 with the wonderful Photosensualis. So I posted a set of them today on the $12 level :)

I finally got the prints!

I will be sending them out in the morning :)

After them taking forever to get to me, then getting stolen, then being reshipped, I have them and will finally be able to send them. The mailing process has been interesting the past month. 

From this afternoon

I did more self portraits today that I'm currently working on in lightroom. I had lines all over my legs from my clothes, and then suddenly I saw pretty light and hurried to clear everything off of this antique chest I have to do photos. So I am currently retouching lines off of my legs so that I can post them - a tedious process!

Also, I am waiting on both my november and december prints so that I can send them out. I think the above print will be one of the $25 prints for January btw ...

I'll be posting a journal entry soon at the $3 level - after thanksgiving though! I'm responsible for cooking most of the dinner (I started last night). I'm making turkey (brined in buttermilk), mashed potatoes, green beans, biscuits, cranberry sauce, and pumpkin pie. My sister is making berry pie and stuffing. Jamiya is bringing himself haha - and a bottle of wine.

This is a screenshot from the gallery he just sent me - it's funny that, as my boyfriend, he sends me images slower than he did when we weren't dating haha. Of course, now I get all of the photos instead of 3 retouched ones. So it's a decent trade-off.

As usual, I love all the colors, and from the messages I've gotten after posting his sets, I think many of you do. So I'll post soon :)

Book Update

I have made the books, but I'm ordering proof copies (to make sure they look good). Those should arrive for me to look over at the beginning of November. Once I've made sure they look nice, I'll be posting links to them.

Waiting for the train

A few candid photos of me in my mask waiting for the train - how I appear on a daily basis outside of art photos. I have also had the realization of why people make fun of me for my "huge" bag - that's a regular size bag by the way. I am just a small person haha...gonna be self conscious carrying it around now.

Books

So, I'm going to be working on the book starting today.

I had 3 votes for a 10x8 hardcover, 6 for a 7x7 hardcover, and 3 for an 8x10 softcover.

After thinking about it a bit more today though, I'm thinking it's about an even split between larger books and a smaller one - I'm guessing the cost was a bit of the decision maker there? I much prefer a landscape orientation for the book just due to my own photos mostly being landscape orientation.

So now I'm thinking that I could ...

Books

So, 11 people indicated that they would be interested in a book - so I'm going to be working on them this week. I do have one question that might effect how I make the books though in terms of cost. I'm planning to create an ebook version for around $15-20, but in terms of the material books I'm unsure of what route to go.

Which option is most appealing to those of you interested in a book? All would have about 50 pages and would be sold through an amazon link most likely.

I'm considering making another book to sell. I realized it's been around three years or so since I last made one - I think winter of 2017 was the last time! It seems strange that it's been that long. But I cannot make up my mind about whether to make one, so I thought I'd do a poll here to see what everyone thinks.

So, should I do one? Also, no answers will bother me. I am actually interested in getting feedback.
