The monster is kissing her on the neck. My theory as to why it is "romantic" or "erotic" is that we have invisible comfort barriers. The neck is in a gap between the chin and shoulders. To kiss the neck is to penetrate that gap, and so it is a psuedo-form of intercourse.

In the second panel the tentacles have different areas of kinetic force. At tips they are stopped by her but and scrunch a bit, trying to find their way into her. Along the lengths of the tentacles they are elongated and thrusting. The slime's body is leaning forward, putting more motion and energy into the attack.

Originally the background was going to be completely saturated but it made it too hard to see the characters.
I think the bright orange hair was inspired by Lina Inverse. The medieval fantasy theme must have done that.

In the original comic you can see the outline of the parasite clearly. In the animation it looked terrible, so I deleted it thinking the fabric stretch marks alone would make it clear enough what was happening. That also didn't work. So I went with the in-between option.

Typically a girl's eyes go from big to small when she is possessed because it looks more sinister, but it can go the other way if the girl is stubborn and the spirit is playful. I would like to do both, and some thing in-between.
