Another fun month, for some reason the character designs were wider or I just drew them bigger than usual, so I couldn't fit them all into the inside of the box. The rest had to be drawn on the lid part of previous boxes to make the most of them.

The spooky month is over, it was difficult to think of anything "interesting" from the month, I had the idea to talk about the Christmas lights that were put on the street that brings out ambient lighting into my apartment, but there's just illustrations of that.
Skull cologne is way cooler and more interesting topic.
There haven't been any clear Flavor of the Month this time around, so I'm going to go with Makima since Chainsaw Man anime begun this month. She's had a pretty constant stream of fan art because of the manga, but now was a good time to draw her.
I started drawing these FOTM-drawings from February on. Does any of you remember who was the most popular character on January? Send me comments and I'll draw that one too to complete the series by the end of the year.
Hoo boy I've been busy with the comic and commissions, but not so busy that I couldn't show you a sneak peek from the upcoming chapter! Full release in early November.

Hello again, new month, new tricks.
The pizza this time was an especially greasy one, despite not drawing these immediately once the pizza was out, the big grease stain smudged the ink a little bit, but hey, that's part of the deal am I right fellas?!

I liked the sketch of this one too for the raw energy.
I like the cute and round vehicles Akira Toriyama draws, and want to use similar styling in my comic when drawing cars and such. Problem is he hasn't really drawn cars from 1930's era, so for now I copied his existing works to get the "rules" right first.
Here are little practice sketches where I took Toriyama's illustrations but put my own characters in them. And hey, the steering wheel is on the left side!

Doing the funny hand walk from episode 7.
From the first trailers I had a hunch she'd be a fan favorite due to her visually catchy design.
Funny comics with the Setz bagman himself.
These are fun to draw, but I'm hesitant uploading them to social media, because I fear people will interpret them the most horrible way and I don't want that sort of attention.

Days are getting darker so I can't take these photos in natural light anymore. Because of that they actually have a nice, healthy glow in them now.

This time the cover illustration didn't have alternate versions other than a sketch from a slightly different angle.

Boy what a month, it's been difficult to pick what actually is the Flavor of the Month of August. I juggled between the new Splatoon characters and Bridget from Guilty Gear Strive, but I went for the wild card and drew Dr. Livesey from the Soviet Treasure Island animated adaptation.
Left one is on-model, right is more in my style. Jim Hawkins in the middle.
Dampé was a pretty clear winner of the handsome men of Ocarina of Time-poll. It was refreshing to draw purposely ugly character (pardon me for saying that). Thanks for voting, and I'll see if I want to draw some of the others in the future. I also excluded some great candidates from the same game, so there's an idea for a future poll.

With this month's "flavor of the month"-character I am bending the rules a little bit, because the sudden surge regarding this character happened at the end of June. Please excuse me with adjusting the theme a little, but if someone clearly more flavor of the monthly character appears, I'll be sure to draw them as well.

AHHHHH I HAVE LOST ALL OF MY RATIONAL THINKING AND WILL NOW ONLY DRAW BREASTS THE SIZE OF HEADS!!!
Just kidding. Sometimes I get commissioned to draw big breasts on characters. I don't have much experience drawing those, and my usual proportions for females are humble, so I took the time to practice on my own. I drew Lulu first, and kept the Final Fantasy theme from that point on.
