For this page. BLANKETS!!!! There are so many of them! There were many in the last one. But I could hide most of them behind word balloons. Here they take more spotlight.

If and when I can figure out a better way to draw them, maybe I'll consider making a print of it.

Maybe a body pillow? Hmmm.

There's nowhere in my house I can fit one that big.

We got it!! I'm trying some things with the speech balloons so that each idea has room to breathe. It also helps as a guide for the audience eyes in some cases. 

Unfortunately in others it covers some hard work. But with some more experience in proper staging and composition I can get that settled as well.

I think this is my third time writing this bit of commentary note. I'll keep it brief so that Patreon doesn't hiccup out of boredom and force me to do the whole thing again.

I'm sorry I'm late. This was supposed to be out on Friday.

I tried some new stuff. Particularly putting someone or something in front of the word balloon and playing with the shape and the size of the font to make it look 'loud'

Is my text too big? I see web comics pretty often online through Twitter and Facebook. The text in the comic is so small that I have to open up image by itself on a new tab and zoom in to see what the characters are saying. I didn't want to put anyone else through that, but if the text is too obnoxiously big, be sure to let me know

I remember back in my college days. My instructors told a story of a student who not only failed an assignment but got yelled out of the room for using the sweatdrop shorthand from japanese manga.

I believe that time he was using more as a crutch than a flourish... still though.

It's going to take some time for me to unlearn the institution imposesd shame and get used to using it again.

That may open the floodgates for more shorthand motifs and expressions to appear in the future.

If it gets too cringe, let me know and I'll try to shut pandora's box again... no promises though.
