October Plans + Update

Hi everyone! Firstly, thank you for all your support. I wanted to talk about what I plan to do for October. I closed my commissions on Twitter and I wanna focus working on personal illustrations since I haven't been able to work on much especially this month (I do have a lot of thumbnails made).

The lighting for this one especially for the skin color was really tough but I managed to pull through. Also tried a different process so overall rendering may seem different. 

Didnt work on variations for this one but I will be working on spearating parts to be able to work with on Live2D which Ive been studying recently. Hope everyone looks forward to that.

Made big progress on the refinement stage for Sara! Im trying out a different process, and although it feels a little weird and a bit confusing, it definitely feels fresh! I wanna learn different processes of other artists to speed up my work and make it better as well. Might start watching a bunch of speedpaints again. 

right now just worrying about finishing the piece, I'll suffer on optimizing it for Live2D at another time.

Plans for Future Illustrations

Hi everyone! As stated in the title, I wanna make a few changes for my future illustrations and my process. Before that I wanna say thank you for all of your support, new and continued. I'm really enjoying the things that I've been working on.

Hu Tao Footjob Animation Test

My first attempt at animating my illustration. Spent like 2 hours binging Live2D tutorials last night and I gotta first get the basics down but it's really fun! With this, my layers are gonna get even more hellish in the future, but if its for better animating, it'll be worth it!

This took me longer than I expected but I finished it! Getting the perspective especially for the head was tough but Im glad I didnt settle. Enjoy!

Im also gonna experiment on Live2D with this illustration so look forward to that! (Also gonna keep me accountable to push through with it)

Finished rendering Hu Tao and I still got Aether and the BG to render. I worked on improving my values and I think it does look better overall, but gotta make sure its consistent throughout the whole piece. 

Manga Progress

I'm 9 pages in to the draft of my manga, (idk if I call it a manga or a doujin) and every page just keeps getting better and better as I do my studies, which means im gonna have to rework the past pages to keep the quality consistent 😫 But it'll definitely be worth it!

For Upcoming Illustration

Hi Everyone! So I've posted a couple WIPs for a Hu Tao illustration that Im working on (finished the lineart + base colors today) and I'm gonna try to rig it with Live2D afterwards! Im gonna try the free version for now, learn more about it and see how I feel after working on it. Hopefully the free version limitations wont hold me back too much

September Plans + Update

Hi everyone! Firstly thank you to all the new patrons and the ones that stayed. I'm really happy with the engagement so far and I've been getting into the flow of things this month better. For September, I have a couple thumbnails prepared (Hu Tao and Yanfei going off of the recent Yanfei illustration) So look forward to those! I will be dropping WIP's throughout as usual.

Did another study (TAKASHIA-san), this was the one I struggled with last time so I took more time to get the pose and angle right. Main thing was the figure which I broke down to get it right
