I've included the use of my tentacle asset for download! You can toy with it how you'd like! Some things to experiment with:
-Adjusting the wave modifier on the tentacle; adjusting height, width, narrowness, and speed will give varying degrees of pulsing. disable wave modifer to remove pulsing.
-parenting the empties to bones in an armature. you can animate the tentacle itself without having to keyframe each ctrl emtpy.

Since I spent the time to rig this guy up, may as well spend the time rendering another view :] Here's a front view.
Though the booty connection and facial animations are not the greatest from this view (something the top view didn't necessarily need) the pulsing dic tentacle is pretty nice ;D

I've got a system made to rig tentacles to character models, and it's super fun ;> It takes a few hours to get the curves to parent to the bones, but I'm loving the control it yields. Making video loops by keyframing an armature alone is super super nice.
Anyways, Here's the original mp4 and webm renders from the video posted on twitter! No compression or conversion loss!

Hey! Here's a still image render at 2x the resolution of twitter. It's what I've got brewing up in the animation department. I've worked on these tentacles for a long time, getting them as procedural as possible so that I can keyframe them easily. It'll still be a while before I produce the animation loops, but I hope this can give an idea of the fun that I plan <3 Once I'm happy with how it all works, I'll release the tentacle model, materials, and modifier stack for download to the scene...

Here's a common rock and grass that I like to scatter in scenes. It breaks up the excess space and makes it more interesting. The textures are from textures.com, free to use licenses. Hey! My next little project has involved fun with wrapping curves. I've not done animating of curves before, so for me this is all new and interesting! Once I'm happy with how the system works, I'll be uploading the asset (of the tentacle rig n' stuff) to the Scenes, Shaders, and Assets Tier ($10) if anyone wanted to toy with it.
I'd love to create an animation of sorts, it's something I'll fiddle with in the coming week. I've been pretty busy the last few days, so It may come later on~...

Hey guys, I've got some grass made, this is a mesh based grass that has excellent performance for the cycles render engine.
The grass has texture based density, so it should be able to be applied to any mesh surface, just the size of the particles, and number of particles will need to be adjusted accordingly.
All textures and the HDRI are free to use, File found under the attachments

The one with the Castle. It's not a very efficient render, but I'll post it for those to tweak around with! I've also leaned more about micro-displacements, which would have helped a lot to reduce file size, live and learn. hah :D

here's how I organized them, each bust has it's own layer, so i can keep everything from getting too cluttered. I created new cameras for each layer, so they could render separately. you need to select the layer in the rendered layer tab, and select the camera from the scene tab. press CTRL+A to play/stop spin animation.
