Glasgow of Many Stories #1

Last year I visited Glasgow for some work/research stuff relating to creative hubs. At the time, I began writing a thought-piece on urban wandering. It never quite got anywhere until I spent one insomniac madrugada typing whatever the hell my brain came up with. The result was satisfying: a stream-of-consciousness piece, that, instead of a full-blown article, became bite-sized ponderings. This is the first one of the lot. They will be published ever Wednesday until they are done.

The Very First Swimslave

Let's say... four years ago, if not five, I was working with vectors and ways to make interesting vector art. To those not versed in the lingo, vectors are what Adobe Illustrator works on. Good for logos and design. For this image above, it means tracing. I selected a couple of photos off Tumblr and decided to randomly create shapes tracing over the image itself. Time consuming and ending up not in the best look possible, but as experiments go I am glad they happened.
