I am back from holiday and will start work on my backlog. Looking around, I seem to owe some sketch commissions to a bunch of you.

Please, if you're on the Sketch Commission Tier, and have not used some of your commissions slots, please send me a PM and let me know what you'd like me to draw. The more information the better.

Seamstress in Stepford Town (Flash Fiction and Abandoned Story)

Hey.

A couple of months ago I wrote this little piece of flash fiction that I thought I could turn into a more fleshed out story. Not a big one, just something short and sweet. So, while I've been away from my usual rhythms, I've been able to do quite a bit of writing. Some of it doesn't interest you, but other stuff, well, I believe it will. Here's a tidy list:

1. Nearly finished a Stepford comedy short story

2. Started a series of flash fiction vignettes that I will definitely illustrate as time goes on. Hopefully I get to write another two soon. Very sex-focused, very outdoorsy.

So, turned my new nameless OC into one of these.

I am going to be on vacation for a couple of weeks.

I was actually supposed to be away for the last two weeks, but I got covid over Christmas and then had to stay and so I have been working flat out on kinky and non-kinky work since before I got Ill.

Patreon requested a sketch of Asuka Langley wearing one of those cosplay swimsuits. But since they left the pose to my discretion I sort of went beyond what I thought I would be making. Kind of loved making this simple thing. Will definitely make it the basis for a future, nicer creation.

A little sketch for Tim Haitsma. They requested a Native American, and it made me want to try my hand at drawing a futuristic sci-fi themed matron from the Ngobere people. As you can see, I failed at the futuristic sci-fi elements.

However, there is something to this that I really liked and may pursue turning her into a character in the future.

I've previously mentioned how I feel a little burnout and creatively burdened by all the pin-ups, transformations and other content I've been making as of late.

During a ruminative evening, it suddenly dawned on me that what I must do to find joy in my kinky art work again is to try to tell a story, and in the process create characters.

Oh, the spark of energy and joy and "let's do it" I felt after making that decision.

But that still left a question: what to focus on?
