While an Investigative  producer at NBC in the bad old 90's, I took it upon myself along with my ever faithful cameraman AND-MAN to do an investigative expose on Prostitution and reasons for decriminalising it and why it would be a positive thing. Thinking during the project I would be constantly exposed to beautiful Women coming out of my ears and that everyone would be jumping forward to talk to me, oh how wrong you can be! It turned out to be one of my more challenging projects.

5 months ago I was getting about 15 to 1600 new subs every 28 days, Im now dropping over 380 a month and losing subscribers and YT are telling me people are not interested in my content and I should think of trying new content ideas....hmmmm gardening? Applying my makeup while discussing murder? Or perhaps eating while talking about murder? You can't make this shit up!

Is this still a thing?

I still see this sort of thumbnail everywhere (creator interacting and looking shocked or scared in an over the top way you wouldn't in real life) and although I steer clear of ever clicking on something that is so forced and staged  (to me at least) I still see very large channels doing it and Im wondering if I am missing out on a trick here.
