Darkness Gem Demonstration

We've been trying to coming up with a special gem that represents Blind/Darkness status effect in an RPG game for a while, but finally, thanks to Kurono, I think we came up with something that is suitable for a puzzle game!

The "Darkness" gem is a timer gem that activates its effect at the beginning of each of the affected character's action. Each time it activates, the screen is covered randomly by darkness, leaving only one area visible.

I’m very sorry to report that NullGhost will be taking a break from the Kemo Coliseum project indefinitely. Effective next month, April 2018, he will no longer be working on the project until further notice.

Regarding Future Release

Chapter 3 Last Quest's Boss Battle Concept Finished!

Yesterday I worked on the boss of the last quest in chapter 3, only to find that my idea didn't work that well. The battle was supposed to be memorable, but in reality wasn't that fun.

Went back to the drawing board today and brainstormed with Kurono on how to improve it. After a little bit of trials & errors, now I think we've got something really exciting going on!

Regarding CG Coloring

Hi, everyone. I have an announcement to make regarding coloring of the CGs in the game. CGs in the game will be colored by various artists who aren't Nullghost. 

Due to the amount of work, leaving everything from start to finish to Nullghost alone is too much. Regarding Patron Only Gallery Update

I've always wanted to talk about this for a while now. Apparently, an unknown $10 supporter posted the punishment scenes of Darius on Tumblr a few months ago. And now the scenes are spreading every where, spoiling many people's experiences before they even get to play the game.

I understand full well that digital contents cannot be controlled and sooner or later they will be spread. We don't mind if contents in the game are spread, if those contents are already available in the current ...

Designing Punishment Scenes

Since Volga's punishment scenes are currently in the work, I think it'd be interesting to show you some of the process behind the scene.

Here are the design sketches of Volga's punishment scenes by Kurono. Before Null-Ghost starts drawing each scene, we will work out on the idea of each character's punishment first. After that, Kurono will draw quick layout sketches to see what's the best camera angle and poses for the scene, and what are the possible variations.
