Visual Novel Log 2

I've been actively working on the PMTS VN, especially since I haven't been able to work on Unreal Engine.


Over the past week I've updated the UI graphics, so it has a more filigree style, I feel it adds to the magic feel since the story takes place in a magical land.

I've also made a side menu for additional options, but I'm not sure which people actually use in VNs. These were the defaults controls.

I've written 1 part of my visual novel and began working on getting RenPy set up for it. I have a lot of work to do with character art and backgrounds, which I'm currently working on, but I finally finished the Title Screen.

Pre Dev Diary 2

I found myself at a bit of a standstill on learning Unreal. The standstill is I cant. Like I cant even try. My puppy is very clingy and needy, between the constant in and out and wanting to play, he also whines a lot and I've no idea why. It makes it very hard to concentrate on learning something when you are interupted every 5-10 minutes (and yes, I accidently timed this but trying to watch an intro video and looked at the time stamps every pause), he does take naps but they dont last lo...

Sorry for going dark for so long

As I'm sure some of you know, I've been rather self isolating for 2-3 weeks now, dealing with a lot of thoughts, feelings, and decisions.  Without getting too much into it, I'm thinking of taking a new direction in life, or at least a side step to the left.

Before my self isolation I mostly was trying to get back into the swing of vtubing because I honestly didnt know what else to do with myself, but I feel like I may "quit".  Now I'm going to quit by label only.

Next 100 hours

I was going to be learning RPG Maker for my next 100 hours.  The hurdle is mostly a story to write.  I had a fan story I was thinking of doing.  However I did not want to spent all that ime, 100 hours to weeks to months or more on a game that could get a cease and desist.  So I reached out to the IP holder.  I spent a week or two working on a game bible for it.  The story outline, maps, character designs, etc etc, and when they got back to me they said they could...

Converting to PepperPlaysV

as much as I'll miss ArgamaWitch, I'm renaming as much as I can to PepperPlays, including Patreon.  So just a heads up its still me!

Still in Blender...

Ive spent almost twice as long as I wanted to in blender trying to troubleshoot issues, and weight painting has sucked so much.  I've spent like 7 days on and off of it.  Along with Blendshape issues.  I've tried over and over and even taken breaks.  It has been stressing me out.  I'm taking a few days off, and a friend has offered to take a look at it it.  

Anyways, here is a bit of an update of my first full from scratch model.

Its slow but I'm still working on it.  Not sure how it will look when I get into rigging.

Now that I have a pupper things have taken a bit of a slow down, and one of the ones I was working on that would take a few months I'll probably restart it after I get a schedule with the doggo.

I do use AI art for inspiration at times, to help with setting up positions or just general inspiration.  That being said, I tend to have a shit ton of unused pieces.  I was going to make this public, but I do have some patreons that dont want to see lewd stuff so I put it under general.

I understand some dont like AI, and I respect that, I dont plan on posting much, just wanted to do an image dump especially since I havent been inspired lately to draw anything for ...

Was debating on doing some suggestive art of Pepper, like this, where as its not as lewd as the Argama pictures.  Let me know if you think this is a good idea, or just stick to more of the mature style.

Since the early videos arent really anyones cup of tea, and I get between 0-2 views on them, I am thinking of stopping from posting them.  This will save me a lot of time because there is quite some editing that goes into those.  Instead I will try to focus on more art.

Here is scene 2 of the opening.  I'm trying to get this done in between, mostly at night when its too late to record.

Sadly my medication was making me so exhausted I have not been able to record much for the Pepper channel. I've switch meds so I'm waiting for them to kick in.  I do have to make more of that NSFW content XD Just been sorta stuck ya know
