Seadrake Vii and Salugia/Jade hi-rez!

Finished not one but TWO commissions since the last update!

The vii one took me QUITE AWHILE, but it came out really well I think! :D
Coming up with a seadragon design for Vii wasn't easy, but I did enjoy it!

(I talk about hand pains often, yet I bring it upon myself by making my characters so complicated LOL...)


Meanwhile, the Salugia/Ziva piece with Jade the fox is also now complete!

As you can see, all my sketches always start out super rough, lots of scribbling. Lots of lines.

When the lines feel a little overwhelming, I try to simplify by blocking in colors and 'multiple layers' when conveying depth.

After that, in the second image, I feel like there needs to be more OOMPH. So I paint the...

Threw a quick color job on what is supposed to be just a sketch!
Got a bit carried away, but here is the winner by a PRETTY big margin of all the requests!

Drawing an image of Sisu and highlighting a nice throat bulge for her is SURPRISINGLY difficult with how fluffy her mane is! It pretty much swallows up her entire throat!

Here's another peek into my work process!

For some reason, drawing lions at certain angles, especially in tlk style, can be tricky to map out just right!

They take me quite some time, but never-the-less bring me great joy.

The first image is the rough sketch I managed to get out, and the second is an outline of the body to get a proper grasp and understanding of what is what, and how a mane should fall!

New Patreon Update SUCKS

IDK who is in control of patreon UI and the overall appearance updates but holy craaaaaaaaaap is it baaaaaaaaaad.

The page to upload content is WAY bulkier, and requires more steps than the original. This really stinks. :(

And don't get me started on the UI side for PATRONS. The feed is just awful, everything is lumped together instead of a chronological timeline.
