Hey guys! Quick, short update <3
I know a lot of you probably know about "the shoot" I was talking about earlier last week. I tried to keep the details vague, in respect to the project and Mark.
The shoot was 3 long, sweaty, fun days. Then there was about 2 days of recording for the monologues and pickups. Mark and Amy edited the whole beast in roughly 3 days. Meaning : the whole project was completed in roughly 6 days. Fucking nuts.

Hey guys, it's been about a week since uploading the completed rough with temp assets. So what's been happening, and what's in the pipeline?
Currently, I'm plugging in all the cleaned-up frame assets from DoritoMeatbag. Some frames have required some edits, others have needed to be pretty much redrawn, but the VAST majority of them are perfect (DMB is a champ).

It's been a long, slow process, I know. But the goal with the scene was to learn, and there's been no shortage of that.
I realize now, that for non-JoJo fans there are things are I personally consider pretty standard JoJo-esque qualities that may be strange/uncomfortable to people not familiar with the series, most notably : the dialogue.
I don't see myself working against my instincts on this, but awareness is important. Ultimately, I hope people will get past the language choice ...

So this last month was pretty much dedicated to getting two Cherry commissions completed. That should pay the bills and additional artists I've hired to help out with projects, as well as the generous support from you guys here on Patreon <3
That said, plenty of project stuff has been happening in the background while I was working on Cherry. Dorito Meatbag has been killin' it with clean up on Blood Sun Vendetta, and I've Gregzilla helping with some effect animations.

It'll likely change a bit based on the addition of sound and dialogue. Speaking of, the next step is creating the audioscape and getting dialogue in there. That'll be a huge part of the puzzle and should add a lot to the test scene.

Hey guys! So just a quick update.
Parts 1 and 2 of 3 for the test rough are "done". After I complete part 3, I'll combine them all and get the audio in there and we'll have a much clearer picture of how it's shaping up. After that, probably some tweaks, then onto clean up and color.

While we hang out on the discord and can do video stuff there, with the help of some of the folks in the discord we figured out a way to manage private streams.
Essentially it's a Youtube Live, set to unlisted. Then I just share the link, and boom. We good.
For what purpose would we do these? I have no idea. But it certainly doesn't hurt and definitely opens up opens for the future.

So, my attack plan for completing the test scene has morphed, which is natural in tackling something I've never tackled before.
I'm breaking the scene into three parts, and getting basic black and white forms in place. So this is the first part pretty much done in rough form.
After all 3 parts are done, I'll combine them do the sound. Then clean it up. Working on part 2 of the 3 right now.

Hey y'all! Just wanted to give a heads up, I've been workin on getting the website in a more organized and functional place. I may make a tweak here or there, but I'm moving on to finishing more pre-production work.
For now, it's got all the basics. And while there are still plenty of placeholders, the basic design and functionality is there. Its a hike to scroll through, but hopefully the side menu deals with that.

So for the flow of the Blood Sun Vendetta test scene, I laid down a rough audioscape of how the scene plays out. I gotta a bunch of music from Newgrounds, and I like the flow.
Eventually, I'm gonna need to hire someone to make some original music for the series. Even if music comes from other sources, original tracks will be critical.

Hey guys! I've been back from Mexico for a little over a week. Had a voice gig for Paladins and short commission to knock out once I got back. And they are off the table, so the path is cleared for Blood Sun Vendetta and other patreon projects.
I've finally got around to sorting some of the photos (still a few thousand to go through, but here's a link to Real de Catorce and Xilitla's Las Pozas:
From the city of San Luis Potosi to abandoned rocky mountain mining town of Real de Catorce to the jungle hillside village of Xilitla to the urban center of Mexico city to historical ruins of Chichen Itza ... it's been 4am mornings followed by 5 to 9 hours drives, chasing the sunlight for photos ... just to do it all again...
It's been a trip.
I believe my current photo count in around 4000+ photos, and I'm amped to share them with you.
So many fun stories in less than a week...
