16/10/2024 - Update 2.5 Plan and Other Projects

Good afternoon everybody, hope you’ve been able to enjoy the new update of Twinewood. Today I’d like to update you all a little bit on my plans for 2.5 and a couple of other things I've got in the works. As you may have noticed I’ve updated my Patreon a little bit to be a bit more inclusive of some of my other projects. Whilst Twinewood is still my baby I've got a drive to create and over the past few months I’ve been broadening my horizons a little with some mods for BG3 and even a Persona 5 fanfic, all lewd of course. Over time I’m probably going to update this site to act as a sort of hub for everything and a way for people to support me, not just for my adult VNs. 

Now let’s talk a bit about Twinewood specifically. With episode 3 in its final few content updates I’m ready to announce that I’m hoping to have it completely finished before the end of 2024. I believe this will take around 2 more updates to complete, with 2.5 including the end of Thursday and Friday morning, then the final update concluding with the last events of Friday. You can expect around 3 major scenes per update with the next one including Kara/Maya’s first proper lewd event! I’m still early in the writing stage, and whilst I’m not ready to give a release date window, rest assured it won’t take another 3 months. For more information on what will be included stay tuned. 06/10/2024 - Update 2.4 Release

Here it is! Twinewood update 2.4 is now public on my itch.io page! It’s not the biggest update I’ve ever made but it has some pretty fun scenes and important bug fixes so I’m glad to get it out to you all. Sorry this one took so long. I really fell into a bit of a slump in August and didn’t get much done which really set me back but it’s all good now. Episode 3 is coming to its conclusion and will likely be wrapped up within the next one or two updates, hopefully being fully complete before the end of the year. That said for now I hope you enjoy the new additions and I’ll be back to update you all soon on the plan for update 2.5.

I've read a bit of feedback asking for more gay content in Twinewood. I'd be open to adding more femboy content to the game if it's something a majority of people would like to see. I'm not going to be adding any masculine male love interests because I don't want to create that type of scene. Let me know what you think!

25/08/2024 - 2.4 Progress Update

A fairly short update today, just to keep you all in the loop of where Twinewood is currently at in development. I've been steadily making progress on the next update and have just about wrapped up progress on the updated episode 1 renders I had planned, along with programming the new trivia/waifu card mini game that will be a part of episode 3. I've been having a bit of trouble with the writing unfortunately, just a bit of authors block to be honest but I'm sticking at it. Since I'm moving into my new home for the final year of my degree in around a week I expect that update 2.4 will be ready around the end of September to the beginning of October. Hopefully the change of environment will get my creative juices flowing again. It will be around 500 renders total and leave episode 3, 4/7ths complete.

Thank you all so much for your continued support, I could do this without you guys! I can't wait for you all to experience the big twist coming at the end of this episode as the story finally takes off for real.

Heads up for IOS Patreon Users

Starting from November, new subscribers via the IOS Patreon app will be charged 30% more than those subscribing from other platforms. Unfortunately due to Apples greedy insistence on taking a 30% cut of all revenue from any transactions made on their devices this is out of both mine and Patreons control. This will no apply to existing subscribers, you will maintain the current rate for as long as you continue your subscription. I personally would recommend subscribing via another device/web browser to keep the lower rates and your money out of their grubby hands.

02/08/2024 - New Plans

As update 2.4 enters full swing of development I’ve decided to make a few alterations to my previous plans. Firstly, I’m currently going back through the entire game so far and checking through dialogue for mistakes, inconsistencies and just generally making improvements. I’m also going to crank out another 50-100 episode 1 render remakes for the update and just overall expand the scope a little. 

Now that all the content is planned out here’s a very spoiler free look at what the main new scenes are going to be in update 2.4:

Sarah - wholesome/relationship event.

Mc’s academy class - Lewd event.

New character - Lewd event/waifu card collection payoff.

Kara/Maya - Major lewd event.

Lia - Major lewd event.

With all that being said, I think my original goal of releasing the update at the end of August is kind of out the window. It’s fucking hot in the UK and things are a little busy in the life of Professional Degenerate slowing down development a little. I think for now I’m just not gonna give a projected release date as it's just too early to say. Rest assured It’s not going to be anything crazy like 3 + months but it's most likely going to be later than the end of the month. We’ll go with the whole it’s ready when it’s ready thing.

On a final note for today's dev log, if you’re interested in Persona, or more specifically the Nudesona event that was cut from Twinewood a while back I have good news. I’m currently releasing chapter by chapter an adult retelling of Persona 5 Royal with a lot of the themes you can find In Twinewood on the website where all degenerate fan fics are found. AO3. It’s been a fun way of releasing some of my creative energy when I’m feeling burned out from working on Twinewood and my long term goal is to one day turn it into a full fledged VN but for now you can read what’s currently available at this link -

15/07/2024 - 2.3 Aftermath and 2.4

Good afternoon everybody, it’s been a little while since I’ve done one of these dev logs. Today I’d like to share a few of my upcoming plans since the launch of update 2.3 and the early development stages of 2.4.

Firstly, a bunch of people found out their older saves caused issues with this update which is unfortunately unavoidable and likely to happen again with future updates thanks to the way I like to go back to older episodes and tweak/update things as well as refactor my code. Fortunately somebody on F95 had a pretty good idea as to a solution. From 2.4 onwards there will be a new option in the games menu that lets you skip straight to the new content after going through a few of the choices you would have previously made.This means the recommended course of action to experience a new update will still be to start a new save, but you won’t have to skip through all the older content first.

As for what content you can expect in update 2.4, it’s going to be a little smaller in scope but I’m aiming to release it at the end of August. I don’t want to give too much away as for what it’s going to include but I will say it’s finally time for Maya and Kara to get their first proper lewd scene. Expect to be able to play until the end of in-game Thursday.

Very Quick Release Date Update.

Thanks to the poll I ran last week I've decided to change the release date of 2.3 to the 12th of July. As always there will be 3 days of early access for my Ultra supporter and up patrons (Starting on the 9th). The update will include both Tuesday and Wednesday of episode 3 with plenty of big scenes, lewds, and nudes.

Which Would you Prefer?

Alright guys, 2.3 is well underway in development now and it's about time I can gauge what's going to be ready however I'm at a bit of an impasse so I figured I'd ask you all what you'd prefer.

With my current plan to release the update on Saturday the 29th, 1.5 days of new content will be ready. That's two morning sex scenes with Chloe, some interesting mid-day events, a continuation of Maya/Kara's stories, a big scene with Yuna, and some main plot progression, however...

If I delay the release by one week, maybe slightly longer, I could push to get the content up to two full days, additionally adding a big scene with Megan and Sarah, and a night scene with Lia. If I release the update as planned then these scenes will come with update 2.4 in like a month or two.

So which would you prefer?
