ALRIGHT, I've started a bunch of different projects over the past few months, but honestly, I haven't been able to focus on a single one sfhshdjf

Now about /this/ project, the storyboard for this AMV was actually my first test using Toonsquid! I was excited to try it out, but I decided to wait until I gained a bit more experience with the program

I AM LATE WAA, but I really wanted to revenge this one!

I wish I could've done more revenges, but I struggled SO MUCH with this piece, probably due to burnout
I was recording a speedpaint, but I couldn't get past the sketch process, so I gave up sjklsjk

WIP UPDATE!! I have been working on this a bit more

I'm actually enjoying ToonSquid! It reminds me of when I used to edit my frames in Vegas Pro (I think I already mentioned), but with After Effects keyframe curves and pre-comp, combined with drawing tools and layers
I’ve yet to play more with the camera feature (Clip Studio also has this if we continue with the comparisons xD)

I don't think it's fair to compare FlipaClip with ToonSquid cuz both have very different functional...

tbh I have no idea what's going on in this scene, there's some bleeding rocks and random floating water BUT I think it gives it that otherworldly kinda vibe y'know?

I kinda deviated from the original sketch idea again, there's still some rocks and,, water
but I think the buildings ended up giving it that dystopian vibe I really like :]

I rarely color characters with pencils, so this time I wanted to compare my Caran D'Ache (1 and 2 )and Prismacolors (3 and 4), since these two brands tend to be the top choices and are often compared, so I thought it would be fun to see the differences myself

I personally liked more the colors of Caran D'Ache, but can't deny that the cel-shaded coloring was a very satisfying result with both of them lul
