I Hear You: Books Are Coming

Yesterday, I had an intrusive thought that maybe people would care about my lewd novels. And it turns out I was right. Over 80 likes on a Patreon post is kind of insane. Nothing gets nearly that many!

So, I am going ahead with doing lewd books on the side!

Hazel Sprite Redesign v4

Howdy everyone!

I am excited to reveal Hazel's official new sprite redesign!

 When we asked for feedback, a big piece we got was Hazel's outdated sprite. So we went about fixing that! We switched up his look to fit the style/theme of the newer characters. With the different style, Hazel lost some of his exaggerated hair floor, but we made sure to extra fluff it when he put his hat on.

Not too long ago, I asked for everyone's feedback on the game to make Hazelnut Latte the best game.

A big note I took from that discussion and other people who messaged me over the year was that Hazel's sprite wasn't the best, especially compared to everyone else.

Which makes sense! It was our first sprite, so naturally, as Kokman made more sprites, he got better and developed a really good style for them.

Welcome to the second Alpha of v0.11!

We got a lot for you all to tackle.

We updated 2 characters sprites.

First being one of the goons. We felt he needed some more dimension and a bit of a different pose. So he got an update. He looks a bit more world weary which is how I wrote him.

5/23/24 - Hazelnut Latte Progress Report

Howdy yall!

I did some work on the game today!

If you saw, we revamped Mr. Noto's sprite. He has way more expressions and poses now since he will be a major character. So I rendered those and went back and redid every scene with him. Even the new ones! He now really looks like he fits the scene now, where before he was shaded JUST for the restaurant.

As Mr. Noto becomes a more prominent character, we've expanded his sprite catalogue and added in 5 poses and 6 expressions. (well, Kokman drew 5 expressions, but I stitched 2 together heh)

Howdy everyone!!

So today was a pretty solid day of coding!

Pretty much the entire episode has sprites! I am still waiting on a new sprite and an edit to an existing one. But I'd say we're 90% there.

Which is so exciting! Today I was doing the scene you see attached which involved 5 characters on screen! Fun stuff :D

What next?

The next big goal I have is to go through everything and make sure nothing is broken and everything has sound effects and music.
