Quick update on the health front, I was very low on energy this week and the bloodwork helped find a potential cause. After losing a whole day to hunting down the (not even particularly obscure) meds I need, I should be getting better soon!

On all my three writing days, I still managed to hit my target of 2,000 words so I'm currently 6k words into chapter 4. I anticipate that this is the one that will need a rewrite from scratch once I get to the second draft. However, it helped...

Wrapping up the week with a pretty cool milestone - I finished the first draft for chapter 3! The first book is set to have six chapters, so that's roughly the halfway point. (Assuming the remaining chapters don't absolutely explode in word count. Which, y'know, could happen.)

Wrapping up a difficult week with...a trip to the hospital, just for a blood test. If you know anything about Montreal, it won't surprise you to hear it kinda stole my entire week from me and went a tiny bit wrong. And if you didn't, now you do know something about Montreal! (Don't get sick here. Just don't.)

I'm a bit of a degenerate for professor/student scenarios.
It feels like making the teacher the dom is sort of the go-to, which is hella good stuff too, but there's something very charming about this sassy student calling the shots :P She definitely doesn't need the lesson. But she gets what she wants, not just what she needs.
