the weight has escalated

So yeah, Hana wasn't the only one I took yet another pass at. In fact, did it for all five girls. In a bit of reversal of the last time I tweaked them where I wanted to pose them a bit more, I focused more intently on getting their proportions and heights more consistent, and I hope it shows.

They're all a fair bit heavier, again, really want to drive home the "Kabocha Academy is going through an extreme obesit...

Shifting focus

After giving it some thought, I've decided to move up the "girl spotlight" chapters to the next on my comic to-do list, starting with the winner of my previos poll, "All Bitter, No Sweet" starring Hana and Yui.

Okay so like, I plan on eventually doing spotlight stories which focus on our main five girls, stories that really explore their characters and let you get to know them outside of the Curves Club.

Update (Summer hiatus)

Just wanted to let you guys know that for a little while, comic content is gonna be a bit more sporadic. I'd hoped to get Chapter 1 done before it happened, but the seasonal depression I usually get around this time hit me like a freight train, and I just gotta put the tablet down before I self destruct and destroy all I've worked on the past few months.

Summer just doesn't work for me lol, when it gets super hot I feel gross, and that gross feeling just evolves into depression and self...

I had wanted to focus entirely on finishing up Chapter 1 these next few days, but I just passed 5,000 Watchers on Deviantart, and wanted to celebrate with the revised design for one of my remaining main OCs, and the first one to get posted on that account- Cassie!

It's Leo, the main protagonist! I likely should've drawn him first, but the cute girls came first! :D

Quiet Curvy Cutie (New Tablet!)

Aaaand I'm back in business! Took most of the day to figure out the new tablet, the biggest challenge being learning to look down again when drawing lol. Once I got really going with it though, I was amazed at how much more comfortable I am! My old tablet was an absolute mess before it finally broke, with multiple dead spots and almost no pressure sensitivity to speak of, and after working with this new one, I'm kicking myself for not ditching the old one sooner!

Brief Art delay

Likely won't be any new pages/art until early next week, my drawing tablet bit the dust and I'm waiting on a new one to come in the mail. Should be here on Saturday, but of course you gotta factor in me getting used to it and actually y'know, drawing new stuff lol.
