Holiday Beaumonts

This illustration was created with the suggestion of one of our Dungeon Masters. I wonder if the Dungeon Master wanted something a bit more sexy, however...

Anyway here's a simple piece, but it's got multiple figures and some bold colour choices. It's pretty rare to see either Amaranth or Elayne with such vibrant colours, and they look pretty good. The coloured background tends to make these pieces look better too.

I don't have a history of making a lot of time to create seasonal ...

Brellf on a Shelf

Just a quick doodle of a brellf on a shelf to tide you over until the next Christmas works. I've been feeling pretty tired lately, but thankfully there was a lot of work drawn this month so far.

Herocia, Hades DLC?

Here's a quick doodle for fun; it's Herocia! This is an old character of mine that I don't draw much anymore, but she's basically a hero from ancient Greek mythology. With that said, this game called Hades has been pretty popular lately, and I thought it might be cool to channel some of the game's aesthetic into an artwork. I could've done better, but this ain't too bad.

There's a 60 second timelapse of the process in the Dropbox Archive.

[Concept] The Dark Witch Queen

Last month, we explored a bit of the Beaumont setting's history by looking at some rough concepts about the Hero-Queen. This time, we return to this era of history with another character.

The Concept

Long before the rise of the Church, in the age of dragons & kings, the evils of magic were kept in check by a long line of kings & queens. Queen Ayn is a hero right out of...

Short Bimbrells Phone Comic

It's been a while since I've drawn something like this, or even a classic bimbrells. It feels a bit like my early hypno doodle comics 3 years ago. One of this month's suggestions expressed an interest in bimbofication, so here's a silly & quick response. It's simplistic & dumb, but it does make it feel kinda fun.

Anycow, don't forget to eat & sleep.

Link: "I'm only wearing it for its armor value!"

This illustration is the result of our first Voting Poll this month, and patrons have chosen to stick Link into a cow-print Bikini. Melanie's there too.

Upon finishing the line drawing, I thought it was a bit too rough and the pose too simple, and decided to add a background to compensate. In retrospect, however, I don't think I really needed that background -- but I am glad I included it. View Post

Witchery Link

Just a quick Witcher-like Link.

It's a bit rough around the edges, and it's pretty noticeable, but that's okay. My priorities were in the visual expression trough colour; It's very dark, and almost monotone, but there is still vibrancy. I could've probably pushed things a bit more, but there's always next time.

I have several monitors and they all display colour differently, so it's hard to decide which one is most accurate or which will most resemble what most viewers...

Elayne & Amaranth Experiments

I began these images with light experimentation in mind, although I feel as though I fell back into a more typical approach with the Amaranth piece (though there's still enough deviation from my standard approach in other ways). It's subtle though, so perhaps it's no big deal.

Starting with Elayne, I tried for a very low-contrast, light & airy look. But Amaranth ended up being much more vibrant. Interestingly, I didn't use my typical "glow effect" in these pieces, except for the lig...

... Brelltaker?

Just a goofy doodle drawn over a screenshot for fun. I still haven't played Helltaker though, so perhaps I should get around to doing so one of these days. What was that? When's the sequel to the widely acclaimed Fall Brells, Brelltaker? When you find an artist good enough to make it.

Don't forget to eat & sleep.

Batch - Christmas Gifts

Tis the season for giving, so I'm dedicating some time this month to draw stuff for other artists on Twitter. Most will probably just be sketches of their characters. These images will be posted publicly, but I'm letting you see them here first. Perhaps you'll find some new artists to follow as a result.

I'll update this post as more art is completed.

What is Dropbox?

Dropbox is a file-hosting service that I upload virtually all of my artwork to, allowing you to access it through your internet browser. I update it regularly throughout the month, but a few pieces may appear at a slower rate, like concept art sketches.

With it, you can access work dating as far back as 2016, and some extra goodies too.

Black Friday Brells

We can't have a Black Friday without an obligatory Sex Doll Brells piece, and I feel like it has been a while since the last drawing featuring the concept. They're interesting, because it is a rather dark idea, but it's typically drawn in a warm, accessible way. It's my gateway brell to get people into the hard stuff!

I wanted to do something more involved at first, but this is good too, and we get three cute characters to enjoy. This work features 2020-11-25 06:46:57 +0000 UTC View Post

Thanksgiving Turkey Brells

And here's the final Dungeon Master illustration for the month -- which just so happens to also be a Sketch Suggestion too, so that was convenient! It's a brellomascot tied up and on your thanksgiving platter! I initially wanted to do a shot on their back, but this works too.

Amaranth Shibari

Another Dungeon Master based illustration done. I decided to lean into general bondage with it, and saw it as a good opportunity to briefly play with tied rope stuff.

Fierce Deity

Fierce-Deity Link, suggested by the Dungeon Masters. The design is a very simple one, forgoing the complex armor for something simple and sexy.

Sexy Sleepover

Here's a pretty big illustration, featuring 11 characters (though I wanted to fit 16). The cast consists of our most regular characters, but I just barely managed to fit Elayne & her friend. Urbosa's here too, for some reason (a sketch suggestion requested her).

I wanted a few more guest appearances, but was short on time & screen space.

This piece easily has more content than my work usually does, and I'd like to do more work like it in the future. They do take much longe...

Colette & Brells: Buy One, Get One Free

Here's a spontaneous illustration featuring a mechanized version of the brellomascot and psudonym's Colette. It's just good, simple fun, and I imagine good number of you would find this appealing. I stayed up way later than planned to draw this.

Link & Hilda

In the latest Voting Poll, I asked $10 patrons to choose a female villain to pair Link with.

The results ended in a tie between Hilda & Veran, so I broke the tie. I've drawn Veran a few times, so I chose Hilda; Zelda's Lorule counterpart in A Link Between Worlds. As far as villains go, she was a bit unconventional for the series, and she made for a good character. View Post

[Concept] The Young Hero... Princess?

Long ago... Before the rise of the Church and their Great Witch Purge, the evils of witchcraft were kept in check by a line of kings & queens, with the revered Hero-Queen being the last to do so. But before becoming the Hero-Queen, she was simply Princess Ayn.

Just a short concept related to the Beaumont-verse.

The Concept

I've doodled this character a few times, but have yet to decide on an actual design for her. So, it's worth tackling that more seriously ...

Preparing for November

It is November (at least for some of us).

In a previous post, I talked about how exhausted I've been in the last few months. My strict work routine has held me back; limiting what & when I can draw. So, I'm gonna change the flow of things -- at least for a little bit.

So, I'd like to chill and try a more laid-back, organic approach (which I've dabbled with lately) to give myself m...

Halloween 2020 Splash

In previous years, I'd usually spend October creating a handful of Halloween-themed works, but didn't have time to do so this year. It's a shame because characters like Herocia, who seldom show up during the year, generally gets a bit of time to shine in October.

Although I didn't have a lot of time to draw a lot of stuff for this year, I figured I could, at the very least, draw one larger illustration, featuring a handful of spooky characters. So we've got the cast of Beaumont, and som...

Countess Karantos and her Pet

The final Dungeon Master inspired illustration for October, featuring Amaranth & Countess Karantos.

I don't usually render in this cell-shaded style nowadays, so there's a challenge in doing it as opposed to how I usually work. I think I have a tendency to over-render with shadows, so the forms are mostly covered in light.
