Demo 03 has been finished. I spent the last two weeks focused on this project. I plan to eventually upload it publicly to itch.io, but I'm going to let it sit for a bit to determine if anything needs to be fixed before then.
UPDATE: Second Version included. The Shield subweapon has been added to Level 3.

In a previous post earlier in the month, I shared a mock screenshot showcasing a new tileset for the next upcoming Beaumont game demo. Unbeknownst to you, however, I had worked on yet another tileset while also doing additional work on the previous environmental art.

Just a last minute sketch for Female Link Friday, and one I wanted to feel more serious than sexy. Still playing around with those painterly brushes, though I did much less so it's kind of unremarkable in all respects. But that's what happens when you don't want to spend too much time on it! I feel like I need to find a way to use these brushes that makes use of its unique values without having to spend too much time on an artwork.

I ended up sleeping through basically all of Thursday, but I still managed to draw this before it was time for public posting. It just so happened to be Golden Week, so I decided to continue the theme of a golden bikini for Link. But I also didn't want it to just be a pinup of the character standing... The latest game dev update is all about enemies.
The general theme of this batch of enemies is to provide a tiny bit more challenge to players, as one of my biggest criticisms of the last demo is how most enemies don't provide enough friction - players can simply walk right without much though. Thus, the general design idea behind these enemies is to provide players with more diverse "things" to do when playing.

Another Female Link Friday that I finished up rather late. It wasn't until I was going to sleep that I realized today was actually Friday, but I wasn't going to stay up any longer. I've been spending a lot of my late hours getting lost in game development, so the date has been slipping my mind.
Still, we managed to get it done! It's a fairly simple artwork, but I'm sure no one will complain about Link in a bunny suit.

Running a bit late with this one, so it was drawn very last minute. I was up extremely late last night working on game dev, forgot to draw, and ended up sleeping the entirety of Friday. Still, I recall this being a popular theme a few months back, so perhaps that'll make up for it.
