I don't draw a lot of mechanical bodies, so I'm not particualrly familiar with the best ways of communicating that, so I'm sure some of the "robot lines" are superfluous. [Concept] Beaumont in Castle Zaleska #1

Introduction

I’ve begun working on the next Beaumont comic story, though I’m still in pre-development. This comic will probably be much longer than the prototype and will take even longer to make. I don’t have a page count yet, but I could easily see it being twice as long as the prototype, since I fully expect to let the comic slow down and breathe at different points.

Elayne Ink Sketch

This was fun, and a bit unlike my usual work. It's conceivable to imagine an entire Elayne Beaumont series drawn like this, but it takes a lot of time to do this, since I am not familiar with the style. You gotta push details in some places, but soften them in others if you don't want to look too realistic, I guess. It's a balancing act, I suppose...

Dark Temptations

Here's an illustration that I threw together earlier in a stream. It was already posted onto Twitter, so I figured I'd share it with you on Patreon too, with the full-res image and some process shots too!
