I'm not certain that the Sheikah Slate itself takes photographs, but it's a glorified fantasy ipad, so why not pretend it does for the sake of art? I'm actually not super fond of the 'selfie' component of this, and I'd be less bother if it had less of a presence, because the drawing on the left is more focus-worthy.

Not much to say on this one, but I'm drawing the Sheikah Slate enough that I can pretty much remember how the design looks without needing to reference. At least the backside of it...

Linkle Sketches 01

I did some sketching of Linkle, had a nice enough time considering I really don't like her as a character. Someone on tumblr asked me what my version of Linkle would be. I don't have any greivances with her design, actually, so I'm not sure my version would be all that different. 

Making her curvier or bustier has it's appeals, but I like her rather lithe build and wouldn't want to permanently have something else to decrease body diversity - as well as her general youthful appearance.

Herocia Sketches

I haven't drawn Herocia in a while, so I sketched her a bit for some warmups after I hadn't drawn in a while. She isn't this physically built in my personal canon of her, but you guys probably know that I like to play with character builds every now and then.

Petting Dogs

There are dogs in Breath of the Wild and I hope you can pet them because if you can't then Nintendo will have let me down.

Food

Now that Link has to eat food in order to recover hearts, this means she'll have to stockpile food for the long haul. I remember compulsively picking up hearts in previous games EVEN IF I DIDN'T NEED THEM. Wouldn't it be a shame if I did the same with food in Breath of the Wild? It's not necessarily confirmed, but I'm under the impression that food will have shelf life in game (food can be frozen), so you might just have to chug down food you don't need just to get the extra benefits before they...

Unprepared WIP Sketch

Here's an idea I plan to take to completion within the week. My buffer for the BotW hypr project is getting thin, with only 2 completed pieces left - I've fallen behind this last week. I'm kinda tired, but there's a lot of work to get done. So I expect to pick up on that slack this week, but I should also consider getting adequate rest as well.

The Princess

As a Zelda fan, I really enjoy the games. But I feel I draw simple Links a bit too often and not enough of the other characters. I'd like to start drawing more characters from the game, or at least ACTUAL STORIES for my Female Link instead of simple pinups. In the absence of a new game, t's possible to have been inspired by Skyrim playthroughs for typical fantasy-type adventures. With Breath of the Wild coming out soon, I hope to draw some stuff with a bit more substance.

Here's a sketchy work; it was actually the precursor to my "Defending the Legend" piece, when I first tried the assorted colour overlays. 

Link's wearing the hood from the reveal trailer FOREVER ago... Man, I've waited a long time for this game. I find it hard waiting almost another month...

Speedrunnin'

The prospects for speedrunning in this particular game are... Really uncertain at this point! Playing in your underwear is probably super important for an ultra hard mode. I don't know if this game will have a selectable "Hero Mode" like some other games, or what that might even entail, considering in recent years, it's only been "finding no hearts in grass" and "enemies do more damage." But the enemies in BotW already look pretty powerful, and there's already no hearts to be found in grass. So ...

I am much prouder of this than I originally thought I'd be when starting it. It's not perfect, and I think the remaining lineart in the work is a bit too strong, and would probably be better if airbrushed a bit, but alas. It'd be cool if I could consistently produce sketches like this. 

Link's Old Shirt is pretty small and tight. Probably moreso for a well-endowed Link.

Regal Loto Sketch

Earlier, I was informed of a scene that takes place in Dragon's Quest III, in which the Hero dons the appearance of a queen or king. Thought I'd play with the idea since I like to draw Loto. I think there's appeal in the prospect of a scantily clad, revealing outfit as opposed to the kind of outfit you'd ACTUALLY expect of royalty. I just roughly based it off of some lingerie, though I'd like it to be a bit more creative than just that.

Link's Biggest Fan

Here's a comic I first started during the initial reveals of Breath of the Wild at Nintendo's Booth at E3. During the Treehouse Live segment, Link picks up a stalbokoblin's arm and puts it on his back, all the while, it's still squirming around. That's both cool and funny. I thought it'd be even funnier if it grabbed Link's butt.

I'm a bit disappointed with the butt squish. I would've liked to exaggerate it more.

Loto Outfit Sketches 02

These are bit more complicated than yesterday's sketches, they don't adhere to the Hero's colour scheme, but whatevs. They were request type dealies. This is probably a bit cheap for an upload since it's literally just rough, and technically less impressive, edits of those sketches. But that's alright. Treasure in the Cold

I think my favourite thing about Breath of the Wild is the exploration prospect. Zelda games in later years have not had too much of it, I feel. Making the open-world of Zelda I into a 3D space is a natural evolution - and honestly, the only way to truly capture a greater sense of exploring a vast world, since you can look across vistas of land and pick out interesting spots to visit.

Bread of the Wild

Day Four! Woo! I love the title of this piece, but it was a total accident that only occured a few days ago. The original title of the work was something along the lines of "A meal upon a Fallen Enemy," but after months of ignoring it, and then suddenly coming back to it... A pun happened.

Day 02! This was originally a sketch that I did on the night of the Election, but it wasn't as good. Before now, it was only accessible in one of the Sketchie Books. I've redrawn the hand and torch since then, as well as added a simple background to give the piece a greater sense of atmosphere.

FebLinks Sneak Peek

Princess Zelda (botw) WIP

So I'm going to try a thing once February starts. The basic idea is that from Feb 1 - Mar 3, I will post (publicly) some Breath of the Wild hype and Zelda stuff. Places like tumblr and twitter. As you can imagine; that's an incredibly large workload to take on (and that doesn't even include commissions and other work I plan to do as well). So I've gotten a bit of a headstart on that, though it's still going to take some time to accomplish.

Bodyslide Character Sketches

Here are some more assorted sketches of my Bodyslide character idea. These are (mostly) more casual or silly than my usual super sexy ones. The prospect of a character who can change the dimensions of their body has incredibly clear directions for sexual content, but it's good to just have a bit of fun and make a nose really long.

This character seems like a pretty good opportunity to draw a lot more body types instead of relying on the typical "hourglass" shape I draw so much.

Cassandra Cain Sketchdump
