Patreon Rebirth!

Hey, everyone! I've decided to reopen this Patreon as a tip jar for me and Red, and naturally, I will be posting our art here! I'm currently waiting for Patreon to review and approve this page (my "creator account" as it's called).

In the meantime, since we've been gone for a few years, there's a whole ton of art for you to catch up on (assuming you haven't seen it already). You can find the bulk of it on my gallery: https://gallery2.ket-ralus.com/

To be specific, the last posting to this Patreon is on my gallery as >>20499 and I'm soon to be posting >>22337 onward. That's a gap of nearly 2000 images! Now, a lot of those numbers are references, but there's a lot of great art as well! (To save time, simply check the first 10 pages or so of the artwork category.)

Red has also been sharing his art in one or two new places as time permits. Of course, Oh So Hero! is still our main focus, and still going strong. I'm optimistic that this Patreon will handle all the extra art in a more convenient and streamlined outlet.

And if Patreon doesn't work out, there's always an alternative out there!

I hope to share some of our new work with you soon. Stay tuned~ =}

A Small Addendum (w/ Sept. Update)

Ket here! Continuing off the last post, I am going to keep this Patreon online for just another month or two, but all payments will remain paused. The reason is I want to have a final update of artwork by myself and Red, but there is not enough time left in August for this. Thank You! (Aug 2021) + A Stopping Point

Hi all! Ket here. =}

First off, thanks again to all of you patrons who have been supporting us! It's means more to us than we can put into words. Even with the sporadic updates, many of you have continued to pledge every month. So from the bottom of my heart, thank you~ 🐢💚

Now for some important news. I will be closing this Patreon at the end of this month. We are both Oh So busy with our current project, and there are endeavors beyond art I wish to explore on the side. With this chapter closed, we will have room to move forward freely.

I will attempt to have at least one more art update here before we reach the stopping point, but it depends on how things go this month. In any case, you can continue to find our work in the following places:

Art is a very peculiar and personal thing. I don't quite align with the cycles of other artists, but I do what works for me. The result is I tend to wind up with a bunch of "unfinished" sketches and WIPs. Realistically, I only have time to finish a very small subset of these, but that doesn't mean they should go unseen.

With that in mind, I decided to share these visual ideas with my most ardent supporters in the form of a sketch pack! For the month of July, this will be a Patreon-exclusive pack. It will be available for free on my gallery in August.

Patreon Closing - Gallery Updates Coming

Hi Everyone,

Ket here. =} Red and I want to thank you all for sticking with us over the years. It is always great to share our art with you, and we appreciate the patronage!

As you know, this Patreon is currently on pause. I've been thinking a lot about the possibilities for the future. After going back and forth in my mind on the subject of reopening, I've decided the best course of action is to close the Patreon permanently.

Instead of using Patreon, I will be doing more frequent updates to my gallery, where you can view our art for free! I will also be cross-posting to our Discord server and other galleries for a wider audience.

Also, it's worth mentioning, maintaining a Patreon takes time. Because there's less extra stuff to worry about now, we'll be able to focus purely on the art. That is, when we're not busy with Oh So Hero, which by the way, is still going great and about to have it's next public demo soon!

I know some of you had concerns about me (Ket) not doing as much art lately. For that, I apologize. I got too busy and did not have the right tools to work with. However, I'm in a good position to get things done now, so I'll be looking for more ways to get your feedback into my art.

So, that's the last of it. Thanks to all of you for your support and we hope to see you on Discord, the gallery, and beyond!
