First up, hope you're all enjoying the holiday season. Me, I work retail and I've been fighting off a cold the past few days. The worst is behind me, but I haven't been able to do anything with my free time except laze around and watch TV. Which is completely different from how I normally spend my free time because it is.

Anyway, the bad news I have today is that the illness and my work load and a bunch of stuff related to wrapping up the year has really cut into my ability to write fetish fic...

Well, I had hoped to be more productive this past month. I still would have posted only four stories, but I wanted to have one or two done before October began.

But the depression and struggling to regain my footing sabotaged those plans.

School Days

A couple weeks ago I was hit by a period of brief but intense depression, derailing the story I was working on at the time.

After getting past it and carving some time for myself, I started work on what was supposed to be a simple and quick male weight gain story, something to stretch my muscles and get back into the writing mindset.

This is almost 13,000 words long. I can't do anything simple.

I was going to not post anything new for the rest of the month, save up whatever I write now for September. But there's a contest on dA involving a Wonka-style setting.

The artist holding it (Harlequin) once did a pic of a woman transforming into what I guess I would call a doughnut-girl, and I've had an idea bookmarked for a story involving that sort of transformation. Seems as good a time as any to put the idea into practice.

But after that I'll be saving my other stories for next mont...

Well...

Four stories for August already. Don't think I'm going to stop writing for the entire month, but how many more stories should I post in August? Each new one I post will have diminishing returns in terms of money made, but if I build up a backlog I can take it easy in September or October. Or when the holiday rush starts and I'm working 40 hours a week at an exhausting job.
